In Russia we had "Different War" instead of "Civil War". Not sure about the point of that change. Much less dramatic title and maybe that's why it didn't do that well in BO. Or maybe I'm overestimating impact of a title.

Here it was "War of the Heroes" :funny:

:funny: Do they tend to overexplain movies with their titles in Poland too?

MY understanding is it has less Violent indications.
A friend of mine over there in Germany explained that many films like Incredible Hulk were edited in certain spots. The part where Abomination shoves his Elbow bone into Hulk's chest was removed for example.
Anything that's visually or descriptively VIOLENT is frowned on and edited

Thor with short hair he actually looks more badass but with long hair he is the Thor we are used to seeing so by IW I think too he will grow his hair back and honestly I think I am more used to seeing Thor with longer hair

That could be MH! I wish we knew.
Maybe we'll find out at SDCC. I can see Sam in both Balder and Surtur's rolls actually. We've heard Surtur will make an appearance, nothing of Balder
I actually can't see them discussing Surtur before the film premieres, I think they'll try to keep him a secret.

As for Fenris Wolf, I think he may just be a mute beast. If Hela, Surtur, Loki, and Grandmaster all have roles, plus a possible Thanos cameo, that's a lot of villains already.

lmao Yeah so much more to SMASH lol

She is the Goddess of death and it looks like in the trailer she's responsible for a whole lot of it... But don't call her a hootchie mama!!

:funny:

Yeah, I'm not seeing the correlation between Hela kissing Thanos and her being a '****e' either.

I think they are gonna show Surtur. Probably a slight glimpse of him in the second trailer, Marvel is not keeping Surtur a secret because they showed early footage of him at Comic.con and if my theory is correct all the early footage/concept art that was released will be part of the marketing campaign for Ragnarok.

For sure Fenris Wolf is gonna be mute it wouldn't make any sense otherwise taking into account the amount of characters and stuff this movie has to juggle with. He's a giant wolf. We have quite a few antagonistic forces in this movie but when you start to picture things together in terms of the story of the movie you realized their places and what their use is going to be.

- Hela is the main villain of the hole thing. Mainly appearing on Asgard.
- The Grandmaster is ruling Sakaar so he's the antagonistic force over there.
- Surtur is the force of nature. The end of all things.
- Fenris Wolf is probably gonna end up being Hela's "pet".

Loki won't be a villain. He's gonna turn good really fast when he realizes what Hela's plans really are and he will get together with Thor to stop this hole thing. Thanos will probably drop by to collect stuff after everything is ashes. And a extra thought is i appreciate much more the heroes going agains different formidable foes than just a hole army of disposable canon fodder. At least we should get some pretty awesome and sick pairings with these heavy hitters.

Most likely we get some new images similar to those released by Entertainment Weekly and a few more details about the story of Ragnarok. Less than 2 days until the magazine drops an soon enough we're gonna get a glimpse at the content of that Empire issue, it will make it's way to the internet...

With all of these heavy hitters in Ragnarok i was wondering how would we rate them in terms of power. I am not a comics expert but from what i know and what the movies/comics have showed me and taking into account that this is the MCU i would have them sorted like this...

Top 10 most powerful characters in Thor Ragnarok.

1 - Surtur
2 - Odin
3 - Hela
4 - Doctor Strange
5 - Thor / Hulk
6 - The Grandmaster
7 - Loki
8 - Fenris Wolf
9 - Heimdall
10 - Valkyrie

Plus Skurge, Korg, Sif, The Warriors three, Miek...
I put Thor and Hulk together because for me their about equal. One stronger and the other one more powerful. Btw this Thor with mjolnir...

Well those Thor shorts do make a lot more sense now. :woot:

Can you drop a space rock? In space there isn't any gravity.

depends on where you're at I guess. Even the moon has gravity lol

Of course you can drop a space rock. It just won't fall if it's in outer space. And you can't just drop it and walk away if you're in space. If you want to get away from the space rock, you'll need a George Clooney space jetpack.

I saw the trailer when I took my family to see GotG 2 at the Cinemark XD. It is KILLER on the big 86 foot screen. When more??

Yeah, probably.

I would expect a glimpse of Surtur right at the end of the full trailer.

How did the audience react to the trailer?

I just remember hearing groans and chuckles when the $#!tformers trailer ran. My son loved the trailer.
