who here wins in an armwrestle match ? herc or thor

crap this is a good one...I'll go with Thor because of his power surges

Arm wrestle? Herc definitely. Its been stated that in sheer power, Herc is superior.

That's complete crap!

I have a thor annual where the two meet at the top of a mountain and have an arm wrestling match. The comic says that they meet anually to do this . They struggle with each other until the mountain crumbles beneath them and the match ends in a stale mate. The comic goes on to say that that's how most of thier meets end.

really? thought thor was far superior to herc? obv wrong. how come herc doesnt get a bigger billing in cosmic events?

Because all Hercules has is his strength. Thor is slightly weaker than Herc physically, but he's about a thousand times more versatile.

No, you're supposed to moonwalk off the building so that the ground under your liquefied corpse lights up after you fall. :o

"Although, when Thor enters a state known as Warriors Madness his strength far exceeds that of Marvel's classically strong characters (Hyperion, Gladiator, The Hulk, or Juggernaut). Even without the Odinforce, an enraged Thor was able to kill both The Thing and The Hulk at the same time. In this state, it is likely that his strength far exceeds even the likes of Superman." Wikipedia for thor.

hmmm, there's nothing as interesting under Hercules. I think they imply Hercules is right up there with the strongest, but I don't know, even with just pure strength i still fancy Thor. Even if because he's a full God and Herc isnt... bad reasoning i know.

ok, then so if marvel's only evidence for this thing is to believed, then its a coinflip. so there's no more point in this thread ;)

Also thor post odin-force would win easy correct?

silly hercules is a god

He was deified upon his death, so technically he's a full god. And, unlike the Asgardians, the Olympian gods are immortal.

thor IS immortal. you're referring to ragnarok right? which thor survived so...

anyone know which book is that ? the pic. i posted

The Asgardians aren't immortal. Look it up. What's the use of a race of warrior gods who value honor and valor but can't risk their lives in battle? :o

I'm looking them up and you seem to be right on Thor but wrong on Herc:
"It would take injuries that resulted in the dispersal of a considerable portion of Hercules' bodily molecules to cause his actual, physical, death." implying he can be killed.
and although that's only Wikipedia NOTHING can be immortal in the marvel universe. There's always a bigger badder being. I woulda thought most writers would have portrayed thor and herc along the same sort of life-spans, invulnerability etc

I'm pretty sure theres a comic somewhere where Thor himself says in raw power Herc has him beat. Its just that Thor has so many other abilities, in a fight, its far more likely Thor would win.

Only in a fight without the hammer or weather control on Thor's side. Unless we're talking about King Thor. Then he outclasses Hercules by leagues and boundizzles.

thor is still class 100 without it. but yes he has more abilities using it.

Hercules is also class 100. But hand to hand, he's inferior to Hercules when he's not King Thor.

yes herc is a better fighter in a way

if they fought without there powers then yes herc takes it. but i still say thor is more powerful

Yeah, because Thor controls the weather even without his hammer.
