TIH confirmed for 2008!

I´m really hoping that Zak Penn delivers a great script for TIH, especially now that it´s been said that he will be writing the script for the Avengers movie.
Am I the only one worrying about Zak's writing Hulk and Avengers? If he screws one, that's two down. Isn't like he has some shining record with comic book movies.

[Ions sighs heavily] :(

I´m a bit worried but I choose to give him the benefit of the doubt. The movies he´s been blasted for have been Fox productions and as such were almost doomed from the start.

I´m really hoping that given more creative freedom he can write a good script. Plus hopefully this means that Hulk will feature heavily in the Avengers movie :)

They don't make that kind of mistakes. Terminator 2 was indeed released in 1991. I'm 100 % sure:)

T2 WAS indeed released in 1991, you can take that to the bank.....

I hate the long time frame between the movies but at least we are getting a sequel. In movie time do you think the sequel will be set months after the events in the first movie or will 5 years have taken place since there has been any sign of the Hulk?

Great news!

But think,

Hulk-2003
The Incredible Hulk-2008

Five years?!

My thoughts exactly. I'm not happy with the length of time but at least it's all a "go" now.

So is this movie a remake like Avi Arad said it would be?

Nope, this will be a sequal.

Avi Arad never said there would be a restart to the franchise, only that they would change the tone of the film. Saddly this means that TIH will be a lighter and less serious movie then the first one.

earlier release than expected, but really exciting!
i predict that no other movie sequel will par with HULK 2!
HULK rocks!

I doubt it TDK will be a guaranteed smash hit in 2008. TIH is a sequel to a Hulk movie poorly received by the general public (though i think it is superb), and an underperformer at the BO.

The Dark Knight should make 225-250 million if they do it right no problem. The Hulk however has huge interest and if the trailers are good enough, the reviews are good, etc... It might just surprise people. I know it's a long shot but remember the first Hulk in 2003 dollars hit over 60 million on opening weekend with heavy negative buzz on the internet. The toys and video games surrounding that film were massive sellers though. The interest is there now they just need to make a movie that can maximize the box office. From what I understand it'll be a brutal film but not as dark and torturing as Batman Begins or the first Hulk film which might make it more appealing to a larger audience.

I'm just having fun with my post here. Nobody should take me too seriously...yet.

^I was thinking that last sentence as i read your post. I dont think any of the general audience are looking forward to a hulk sequel, except the few who liked the movie.
