I do too, I like this design more than any other we've ever gotten of the Abomination.

Yup

Abomb in the comics is pretty much Hulk with fin ears and scales.I don't see why all these people are whining,directors are always going to create and adjust source material for the movies,get over it.

Besides,this Abomb is a much better design that the one in the comic.

This design is so original that it isn't even funny. I mean, it's cool to see a villain version of the Hulk with fin ears in the animated series, comics, or video games but this design has made me realize that it wouldn't look too cool on the big screen. Right now, this movie is shaping up to be something spectacular & I can't wait to see it.

Ultimately, if the theme behind this version of the Abomination hold water, I'll be able to support the hcange.

Leterrier seems to have given this whole thing a lot of thought, and changes he's made seem to have been done in the interest of a better film.

Why is Abomination naked? Okay, what I'm really asking here is, since he'd naked, why does he have no bits. And no PG excuses, if there isn't a logical reason for the gamma rays to get rid of his junk, I will be dissapointed, especially sice his entire redesign is based on logical mutation.

i get your POV and thats fine, i just don't understand how you can say "ooo they can turn into big monsters that can be green, brown, whatever from a gamma bomb that in real life would cause cancer and/or instant death" yet you have a hard time believing fins for ears....

lol, I understand this could go on for a very long time and that is fine. We are just looking at it from different POVs.

Of course Gamma would kill/cause cancer/etc.

But the point of the movie is, they are injecting super soldier serum (and this stuff is what allows Bruce to survive the Gamma radiation).

The Super Soldier Serum (SSS), is something the military is working on and trying to create, exactly that...a Super Soldier.

So therefore, the gamma in this context does not kill Banner because he has the SSS in him, which allows him to survive the gamma.

But the mixture of gamma and SSS may cause rapid growth of cells or trigger some sort of chemical balance in the body which allows for increased size/strength etc.

(The green thing is simply because, he is the HULK - or maybe that has an explanation, maybe the chemical is green and it taints his skin when it takes effect)

So therefore, since Blonsky injects himself with TWICE as much as Bruce (so they are saying) and it is injected all over the place (in his bones/bloodstream etc) The overdose of the not-yet-read SSS causes takes an extreme effect on his body.

Therefore when the gamma hits him...he has an extreme amount of chemicals in his system which warp his body.

His body in no way looks UN-HUMAN... it is just pressed and mutated to the max. His bones are protruding and his skin is rough.

All I am saying is, that is believable. It is beleivable that chemicals can WARP your body.

HENCE: Steroids, make people bigger.

But if you wanted fish ears, you would have to go to a plastic surgeon.

That is why I can "believe" that a mix of SSS and Gamma would do that to you.

It would "warp" your body...

it wouldn't change the human anatomy into a fish-like creature.

...make sense why I can believe that now?

I have nothing against guys, my point is they just turned abomination into a childrens tv monster. Hulk retains his pants because it is more illogical for him to look like a ken doll than for his pants to stay on. The same should be true for Abomination.

It's a new version of Emil Blonsky. He is a rouge soldier in pursuit of Banner and is the opposite of Bruce Banner.

Abomination looks so b.a. I cant wait to see the finished film. The design looks really great with all the bones sticking out and such and he truly looks like an abomination.

Ang Lee's Hulk was good for what it was but it just had so much potential to have been better than what it turned out to be. This movie seems like it was under the direction of a smarter group of people & I'll bet this movie is going to be one of the best Hulk interpretations yet.

Because comic book films usually try to be more believable than the source material, and like to explain things better. Anyway, in the comics, he always had blue underwear type things on.

I don't agree about the Transformers redesigns being crappy but I do think what they came up with for the Abomination is pretty damn good.

Yeah, whatever. Those designs are crappy because they sprouted from the s****y mind of Michael Bay. That man is an insult to movie making in general. He should be right down in the lower echelons along with guys like Uwe Boll and Pitof. He should never have been entrusted with adapting any franchise, ever. I hope he rots in hell.
