Tim Roth is Emil Blonsky/Abomination in The Incredible Hulk!

dude read this

"...What might throw you off [about Abomination’s colour] in the trailer is that there’s fire. Since there are lots of layers of skin and he’s kind of transparent, he reflects whatever’s around him. Since both he and Hulk are gamma monsters, they both have to be gamma green. He’s brand-new, he’s a new monster, so he’s unstable and not perfectly green, but he’s still very green. If you look at him in broad daylight, he looks like the animation from the comic book, that darker, deeper green. If I were to show you a picture of the Hulk in that street at the end, when they’re running at each other, there’s so much fire around them that he looks like an orange monster. But he’s not an orange monster — he’s green."

its from the Empire interveiw with L.L.

if you wanna read it from the start here it is

it continues on 11 pages.

That's really interesting & makes me look forward to seeing the big guy in action even more. I'm sure we'll get to see his green skin in a few scenes & if you look closely at the picture of the Abomination running, you can sort of see a little green on his arms.

There's nothing to truly "get over." It is possible that the script could've had a few changes but we won't know for sure until we either hear LL say something on it or until we actually see the movie.

its interesting that ABO reflects the light around itself.i mean we all do. but hes skin must be different because he absorbs more light.

should make a pretty good effect.

The thing is Leterrier says that he is only orange because his skin reflects the setting. But from what I know of the script this is the only time he appears in the movie, and only in this setting. So he might not look very green at all really.

I hope that's not true, I'd like for him to at least have a couple more scenes than that. If not, it's cool because the main focus of the movie is the Hulk is which is why we're amped to see the movie anyway.

Remember his skin is sort of transpartent in this film too. So at night light would shine through the edges.

I really hope we get the Abomination in some sort of surrounding with some green coloring so that we can see what this version looks like when green.

I think the director said he is green but with translucent skin. So he should have semi-see through green skin.

I think he looks absolutely amazing.. I don't have any reason to complain.. Plus in the next movie I imagine he'll turn more into the comic version..

Wouldn't that make a great interview lol,
Interviewer: So the Abomination, what colour is his skin?
LL: The Abombination is very much green, in daylight.
Interviewer: Will we see him in daylight?
LL: No.

Howabout not posting spoilers for those who have not read the script without spoiler tags. That way if you are quoted the whole world doesn't see it. Even though this is a spoiler forum script details need to be kept hidden.

well maybe we'll see him in like a lab or a facility before he goes outside.
inside a lit building means it'll most likely have normal clear white light simular to normal sunlight maybe then he'll appear green and not brown or orange from fire surrounding him. but hey its just a theory.

They not going to talk to each other during the fight.

Get over it.

I guess in reality if you're pounding the crap out of one other you'd rarely expend the energy to gab anyway. You'd just want to beat the other guy up.

In reality the two people fighting wouldn't be 9 feet tall green monsters.

Actually in a fight there usually is quite a bit of banter, mostly insulting each other as they kick the crap out of each other. Whereas 2 normal guys fighting would say something like 'Im gonna send you crying to your momma' or something like that like lol, Hulk would say 'Hulk smash annoying man'.

I hope there's not rapping during the fight. Maybe before the Hulk's last move to defeat him. It works fine in the comic books but I think it would be "Incredibly" cheesey in a live action film as dark as this one appears to be.

What would they say anyway!!? and yes, it would sound really cheesey.

When I used to get into drag down fights with my sisters when I was younger, I never insulted them. I was too angry at them. I just beat the crap out of them.

I hope so, it's nice to see him with orange skin/tanned skin but it'd be better to see him with green skin.

Interestingly enough, I showed it to a friend and she was like "Who's the other green guy?" and my immediate reaction was "HOW THE **** did you even notice that!?"

You can see green on the pic of the Abomination beginning to run but I can't seem to catch any hint of green in the trailer, he seems to be grey & then orange. We need to see some sort of green in the movie, it's only fair.

I'm just wondering, anyone know who was Marvel and Ed Norton's first choice for Emil Blonsky before they hired Tim Roth?
