I’ve seen Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing and seasons 1 and 2 of Titans. IMO, they were all decent-to-good and worth seeing. However… in the Great White North, Titans is on Netflix while the other two were shown on a specialty “cable” channel that I was already getting. IOW, I didn't pay extra for the entertainment value. And if I did have to pay, perhaps my quality standards would be stricter. Hard to say. My advice: subscribe for a month, binge a bunch of stuff and then cancel.

Can we get some balance please.

I think DC really missed the mark by not making a Teen Titans live action movie (with a proper tone and production values) instead of this show. I can almost guarantee you a Teen Titans movie would have been a big success.

Instead WB gives us this version of Titans and makes a girl gang Harley Quinn movie.

Yeah, We have DareDevil and Watchmen on the marvel side but this is the property DC decides to use to make an edgy deconstruction of the superhero genre. TEEN TITANS.

Unless you're really into the comic aspect of DC Universe, I'd just wait until it's eventually rolled into HBO Max and wait for that.

Enjoyed the 2nd season and can't wait to see more from Connor next season.

I’m new to it. I loved Swamp Thing. Doom Patrol is good, but kind of slow for my tastes.

If you like comics, by all means it is a treasure trove. If you are only getting it for series and movies, probably not. Or at least just pay for a month or two.

Swamp Thing, Doom Patrol and the Harley Quinn animated series are A+, imo. But the service as a whole wouldn’t be worth paying for if I weren’t into the comics honestly. Well, those and the old favorite shows I like to watch again and again like the Batman and Superman animated series and Lois & Clark. The comics were and remain the main draw for me though.

I just watched Season 2. I didn’t hate it. In fact there was a lot that I liked, although my expectations were low. Definitely helped that I binged it. The swearing was stupid and a clear attempt to make it “edgy”. And I find it laughable that Dick Grayson is a fugitive forever now. They kind of forgot about that after one episode

The show probably flows a lot better if you’re able to binge it all instead of waiting week to week which can be very frustrating with the pace the show unfolds at.

I binged both seasons over about a week each and thoroughly enjoyed them, so what you say may be true.

Bought and watching the 2nd season of Titans on DVD.

So I just now saw the batsuit used in Titans. They really didn't give it a chest emblem? The cowl looks good, and the tactical armor look I don't mind. But no chest bat? Why?

Nolan's batsuit barely had a bat emblem you could see unless in still pictures.

I finally binged S2 on Netflix over the past few days and for the most part I enjoyed it. The finale was utter bull**** though and then they end it on a Blackfire stinger like it's some big whoop.

The constant ''years/months/weeks, ago/later'' doesn't bother me much in TV but I hope they cut that down for S3. It seems like they are just using it as an excuse rather than actually contributing to the story.

I am 4 episodes in. Honestly, this show is better than I anticipated. Yeah, it's not perfect and the edge for the sake of it can be tiresome, but overall it ain't bad so far.

Is there definitely going to be a season 3? The finale for 2 was rubbish, and as you say they went too far on flashbacks and not enough here and now. They really need to get all of their heroes together for some epic team scenes.

I think the Superboy episode is still my favorite so far.

I did truly enjoy that one. Superboy/Krypto and Slade are the only two real bright spots of this show for me.
