I think the Superboy episode is still my favorite so far.

Yeah, he was good. I like the actors they chose for Nightwing, Robin, Dove, Donna Troy, Superboy and Deathstroke.

For the most part, the actors on the show are fine, imo. It's the writing of the characters (and...plot) that I take issue with.

I feel the first half of Titans S2 was pretty good, but after that, idk... especially the finale. I have no desire to go back and watch a lot of episodes.

I agree, most of the casting has been pretty great, just need better stories.

The fact that "Connor" is the best episode of the entire series is an issue which they should recognize. It was almost the exact opposite of other episodes. It wasn't ruined with the blue filter, had humor and charm and a character that wasn't a *****ebag nor act like an emo teen.

Superboy, Krypto and Slade were definitely the highlights of this season IMO. I can honestly say that as of right now I would be far more interested in spin-off shows of those characters rather than a Titans: Season 3.

90% of the Titans fans would actually agree with you as the S2 finale was absolutely a waste of time. Can't believe they actually resolved the Deathstroke story arc in the first 20 minutes.

I remember thinking "well he's obviously coming back later in the episode for the final showdown.... wait, that was really it? "

I also thought the fight scene didn't look like an actual fight. More like "okay now everybody stand back and watch our demonstration"

The editing in the Nightwing vs Deathstroke fight was bad. I couldn't believe this was the final product of the finale, the finale as a whole felt rushed.

Side note, on the topic of DC shows you're catching up on, did you ever see HBO's Watchmen, @Spider-Fan ? It just came out on blu-ray if not, and is very, VERY worthwhile, imo (certainly more so than this)!

Oh, it's on the list. I didn't buy it though. I have HBO Max, but don't really want to see that on my phone first time. Waiting for blu ray to drop a bit. Titans and Swamp Thing were cheap when I bought them.

Glad to hear it. Yeah definitely don't watch that one on your phone, lol. It's definitely my favorite comics-based show to date.

It's never my preference. Watched first 3 episodes of Hannibal on my phone on Netflix. Darker scenes on phones suck.

Watchmen looked amazing, so I plan to marathon it once I get it.

Yeah, I was very impressed with most aspects of Watchmen.

Yeah, dark scenes are definitely a pain on phones. I mainly watch things where the visuals aren't all that important or things I've already seen on phones.

From what I understand, Dick actually gets his Nightwing costume by the end of the original season 1 finale. The Doom Patrol also arrive as well, though I can't remember if it was stated that the version that shows up in the end were from a parallel Earth. We also saw Ravel and Kory getting more comic accurate costumes and Donna was still alive as the Titans finally came together (fully formed) in the end.

I'm betting that one of the reasons why they had abandoned all of this is because they wanted to recton their own history and replace it with the notion that there was a past version of the Titans prior to the events of Season 1.
