The Amazing Spider-Man Tobey and Dunst ?

Anyone heard anything on how they might have reacted to this ? This was Tobeys money maker if I am not mistaken.

Tobey's reaction:

“I am so proud of what we accomplished with the Spider-Man franchise over the last decade. Beyond the films themselves I have formed some deep and lasting friendships. I am excited to see the next chapter unfold in this incredible story.”

Tobey... a true pro.

I don't think Dunst's reaction would be that respectful.

She might still have been passed out before the news from the drugs so it hasn't gotten to her yet. If so:

TOBEY: It's gonna be okay. We just get back on the horse and--
DUNST: DON'T GIVE ME THE HORSE TALK!

But I already heard Tobey wasn't mad anyway. But now with Brohers and the surprising amount of acclaim he's getting it'll be cool to see him expand his career if he can. He can do more now.

After the first film,Dunst's excitement(and commitment) over the franchise seemed to really go downhill. I know she really badmouthed Spider-man 3. Personally,I think she'll miss the paychecks, but other than that she could care less. I've always felt that her heart just wasn't in it.

And I couldn't blame her one bit, she pretty much felt how most people felt (I know I did). That the movies were repetitive and collapsing in on themselves. Why should she be excited about a film that keeps all of the characters and stories running in the same damn spot for three movies?

And who the hell didn't bash Spider-Man 3, it's awful? Poor story telling, characterization, direction and don't forget the dancing and crying.

Yeah, but this was while she was supposed to be promoting this film before it came out.

What do you mean so what? It's not very professional to bash a film which you are supposed to be promoting.

The girl just had a massive attitude problem. Remember that gif of her and Tobey at some awards thing? Seriously, she got issues, and coke ain't the only one.

Hell, we should be thanking her for warning us, the movie was a punch in the face. She was the only one who was real with fans, everyone else in the production kept telling us how great SM3 is...including Tobey.

Yea I can appreciate honesty. But still, she was a *****. And she should be grateful for the Spidey movies no matter how crap she thinks they are. If it wasn't for them she'd be nothing.

What, are you nuts or something, do you think these Spider-Man films should be the livelihood of all who dwell upon it. You're damning the one person who gave you the truth about the film. I can only wish the new actors, director and producers will do the same. If anything, everyone besides her was a *****, a lying *****. Even the trailers were cut to fool us into thinking the film is gonna be great.

Dude, that's their jobs though. To sell the film they've made for the studio. Kirsten effectively broke out and rebelled and didn't do her job, making her the only *****.

What? No I'm saying Dunst is a crap actress and the Spider-Man films got her close to A-List. Now the Spidey films are gone she won't have nothing of note.

The girl is a *****. Simple as that. She thought the films were below her from the second one onwards, instead of putting her all into it like a TRUE professional would.

I honestly can't believe you are defending Dunst. I don't give a **** if she was honest enough to admit SM3 was crap. She's a coke head ***** who doesn't take acting seriously anymore.

So, you like being lied to then, eh? You like Sam Raimi, Tobey Maguire, Laura Ziskin, Avi Arad and Grant Curtis telling you that a piece of cr@p film is gonna be the greatest thing on Earth. You like being sold cr@p, good for you.

No, I really don't like being sold "crap", but I don't blame them for doing their job. Part of being an actor is promoting the movie you made, whether it's good or bad. That's not lying. That's just doing their job, and personally what you might find crap. They might have thought they did a good job on.

Catwoman was worse than Spider-Man 3, but I don't go around calling Halle Berry a ***** because she was promoting it in a positive way. Of course, later even she turned around and called it a crappy movie. But that's not the point. When you make a movie as an actor, no matter the result, you have to go out and promote it positively. It's part of their job.

Well, good for Kirsten for breaking the freakin' rules, I applaud her. That's just the case we have with Stan Lee, he can't say anything bad about any Marvel film, even though most of them are crap. He can only say good things about them, and that he loves all of the changes made to screw up his great creative work. I'm glad someone in Hollywood actually called the studio out on their crap making machine.

Yes, it is the point. Halle Berry accepted a RAZZY AWARD, and rightfully so, which is given out to actors in some of the worst films in Hollywood. Only she should have said it was crap during the promotions, because I'm not for selling crap to people (obviously you are)--when they the actors gets millions of dollars, and what does the movie-goers get, CRAP?

I'm not for selling crap to people. I'm for people doing their jobs. You may think an actor's work ends when the camera stops rolling, but after that there's press tours, events, interviews. And while that movie is still approaching they are contractually obligated to speak about the film and promote it in a way that will make people want to go see it.

You wouldn't want someone coming to your job and knocking you, even if they thought your job gave out a terrible product.

Bloody hell. Honestly, how naive are you? Actors work for the studio and it's their job to talk it pretty. You don't go around talking **** about your poduct, unless you don't care about getting paid or not finding another job because everyone knows you go running around, slandering your own product as you please.

Really, grow up.

Yeah, they should if their product is ****. How about making a film that you can talk pretty about, and it's actually pretty. What, did you think we wouldn't find out that SM3 was garbage, now look at us, starving for a REBOOT.

Uhhhh...if actors went around being honest about what they felt about their films all the time, they'd be out of WORK.

What are you like 10 years old or something?

If you just made a film, and you suspected it was ****, would you come out and say it was **** even though it would mean your professionalism would be called into question and you probably won't get another big role again? Because that is what will happen. Dunst career is practically over.
