Scientology doesn't bug me as much as evangelical christianity. At least they don't get in my way and stop me when I'm trying to get to my classes. Plus, they don't seem to be lobbying for anti-gay legislation, or for creationism to be taught in science classes.

Anyway, I feel absolutely nothing towards Tom Cruise; while I do like quite a few of his movies, he isn't, IMO, quite good enough an actor to warrent me liking him...as an actor, and I don't care nearly enough to actually care about his personal life.

I do like him as an actor. He isn't the most talented of the bunch, but he works really hard, and he chooses projects wisely. He has a very solid filmography.

It's his view. I don't know what scientology consists of, nor do I wish to. If I am uninformed, why should I make statements that insinuate the opposite?

If Cruise is on the war-path to save people, he's no different from Mel Gibson, Dr. Phil, Heraldo Rivera, or a lot of the other hollywood socialites who try to convert people to their way of thinking through one method or another. They're just people whom I have no real interest in or dealings w/.

I used to hate Tom in the 80s but eversince I saw Minority Report, I realized this guy CAN act.

The only real reason I hate him is out of jealousy, nothing more. It's the only reason I've ever said anything hateful towards him. The stuff he did in public last year was kind of out there, but truth be told, It didn't really bother me... at least not to the level that it did alot of people. Hell, I'd jump on a few couches if I had someone who looked like Katie Holmes.

Of course, acting like a baby instead of having a sense of humor about the whole South Park thing did kind of get on my nerves. But it's not a big loss... the episode he banned can still be found all over the net.

And the guy is a good actor. The first Mission Impossible, Rain Man, and Collateral come to mind. I'll be seeing MI-3, probably.

Boring that list has 4 of the top movies I hate and 3 I have not seen.If those 3 are anything like other Tom movies I won't be wasting any money.
