Btw Routh's face is much better for Superman, and he's got a great build. The GQ look of Welling isn't going to do a thing to make it appear that he'd be better for the role.

You're one of the guys that won't shut up about how perfect every efin thing is, and as such I have a question for you: are you going on record as to say that since everything Singer is doing is perfect that Superman Returns will thrash Spiderman's opening weekend?

Yeah, the original pick had reverse light source and shadows. Too much of an amateur to fix it in a rush job. The angle of the face pic was the closest I could find, but other than that, somebody with more experience would definitely need to do it to nail it.

I wouldn't put Welling's face on *that* suit if you paid me. I prefer the more "classic" colors and look to the suit, not to mention Welling's own physique, which is quite different and more personally appealing to me than Routh's.

So for now, in the absence of having any "real" photos of Tom actually IN a Superman suit, and most manips being somebody else's body (usually Reeve's), I'll just fall back on artist's conceptions.

I wonder if someone could do me a HUGE favour could you resize that picture with these guidelines

no larger than 100 pixels in height and 150 pixels width, or 50 pixels height and 400 pixels width. The file size must be no larger than 20KB

So I can use it as an avatar or signiture at other boards I post at. I have tried but I only MS paint and I can't figure it out at all.

pat i noticed hwo the low open collar of thsi suit just screams manilness . you can see defined structure unlike the new suit.

I think Carlo may have gotten that idea from Cain's suit design, which had a very low cut neck line (I loved that.) Even though the rest of the suit wasn't very well-made (sewn on logo and whatnot), at least it was traditional looking. Welling has a VERY deep chest and defined musculature around the clavicle and sternum (lots of pec deck flys), so that style would look mint on him...

If we ever see Welling in the suit (keeps fingers crossed), I hope they go for the low cut neckline and keep the suit as traditional as possible. Don't "FIX" the damn thing - it AINT broke! Freakin' morons. LOL
