And with this, we can finally once and for all put the idea of Welling as Superman to bed. It will not happen in JLA, and it will not happen ever. We need to let it go.

Accept the fact WB doesn't give a flying f what we want, and never will. The second we all do this, the better.

LOL! You sound bitter, Zing. ;)

I was prepared for this for weeks, so no surprise from this peanut gallery. Now it'll be onto seeing who IS cast. If it's the Friday Night Lights dude - Palmer something - no thanks. I know he's like 30ish, but he aint no Superman. Same goes for Hell Boy, though I'm pretty sure that rumor was killed. The film's plot sounds awesome, but if they try to pull this off with a teenaged-looking cast, I personally won't be interested - not unless they make it into a comedy like Sky High or something. I enjoyed that film *because* it mocked superheroes and the whole genre.

Oh well. Life goes on. Remember folks - nothing to lose and everything to gain. NOTHING has changed. :)
 
Even if the cast choices are not your choices I am sure people will find reasons to see this movie. At most the special effects should be awesome with these 7 characters :woot:

I agree but I wanted

Bale -Batman
Welling =Superman
Reynolds -Flash

and I'm getting none of them.

Oh well maybe when they do a solo Superman movie Welling might get a chance.

Who the heck is that :huh: & wow the WB is being tight with the casting getting out & I just want assurance that Teresa is not Wonder Woman at this point heh.
 
OK, let's go back for a minute here, Jayne comes out saying she's happy with cast list *wink* *wink*, few hours later she says both Welling & Reynolds are out?

Something is not right here.

She's somebody that either knows or works with Robert. I forget who she said she was, but she was posting last night with Robert - she just didn't say much.

Let me start by saying I'm convinced Welling is not involved in JL.

Okay, now that that's out of the way, I *am* baffled by them not being allowed (apparently?) to reveal that info. Jayne did, but she said it over at CD. Okay, fair enough. But why not Robert? I know he has different sources than Jayne. Why would *they* not want him to say anything?

There was a post earlier last night on IESB that said peeps at CW (yes, CW!) had NDA for the last month on JL discussion. I didn't think much of it at the time - it made sense, y'know? LOL - but with Welling *not* being in JL, why the bleep would they give a rat's patootie about what's being said about him?

This is REALLY getting bizarre, and I can't help but wonder if there's something else on slow broil in that pizza oven over at Warners. :dry:

If I had to guess Id say it was Jayne but dont quote me on that & looking at the fact that Mirko finally gave Justice League its own forum here that must mean something after using the lame its not a sure movie yet excuse it has to mean something

It's not going to. Robert said last night that Nolan and Bale are contracted for three films and they will do three.

They wrote this whole JLA thing with Bale/Routh in mind and denied them both when Nolan was being uncooperative?

If the new Batman actor is playing Bale's Batman... that isnt a good sign for Nolan's Batman III either
