Cry in what way? Cry as in "oh no, I totally didn't want that to happen," or cry as in "why? Why have I wasted so much time on this show?"

I'd say a mix of both only because of what happens but more "Oh no, I totally didn't want that to happen", had me choking up for at least 5min before I did cry.

i know, i was close to tears with the end. totally sad.

I thought the ending was sad, Tosh died, Why! I really liked her as well, Owen was going to die soon so what ever lol

But Tosh? Why not Gwen !!!!

So I thought it was sad.

They killed Tosh? Really? Tosh? The most likeable character on the show who isn't Jack? Now who are we supposed to like? Ianto?

I agree they did kill off the most likeable character, apart from Jack really.
So I was gutted.

I gotta admit I cried at the "because your breaking my heart" bit, possibly the best written scene (even if I didn't want[BLACKOUT] Tosh[/BLACKOUT] to die) of the entire series, it was totally gut wrenching. :(

Yeah I agree that part was like oh no I am not going to get tears! And that part was done so well and so sad. The way it was done and said.

Great! Thanks for the spoiler, guys! :cmad: :csad:

Tosh's death, final episode of the season? I think in the US we have, what.. 2 more before the finale? An episode airs tonight over here.

LOL, thats why I wouldn't say what upset me in the episode.

Yeah guys alter your posts & put Spoiler Alert.

I believe when an episode airs, people should be free to discuss anything that happened without putting up spoiler warnings. In this case, we're talking about a British TV show whose episodes air 2 weeks earlier in the UK than they do in the US. We Americans enter this thread at our own risk.

Also, I'm not exactly a spoilerphobe.

Manic's location said Northern California! :cmad: :oldrazz:
Thanks for putting the spoiler tags. I didn't read yours but I saw Manic's post about Tosh's death. That post made me cry. Why her? Why not kill Ianto. Tosh has a purpose on the show, she's the computer whiz for goodness' sakes! Ianto... all he does is make coffee! What... they can't make their own coffee so he has to live and Tosh has to go?!

The thing is, not everyone is like you. Besides it's not too hard to put the spoiler tag and if those who don't care for spoilers want to find out, they can always click on the tag to read the spoilers and spare the rest of us who'd rather find out for ourselves while watching.

Yes, feel free to discuss. It's what this thread is for but I am making a request for spoiler tags, if that's not too much to ask. Thank you. :)

They were writing it as a finale, but according to RTD if they do a third series they will have 3 new characters, 1 to replace [blackout]Tosh[/blackout], 1 to replace [blackout]Owen[/blackout] and he said he will keep the third character under his hat for now, I think it will just be PC Andy's replacement since the actor is going off to the remake of Bewitched.:o

I know [blackout]Owen is already dead[/blackout] so I figured it's only a matter of time before [blackout]he leaves the show for good to be replaced by someone else[/blackout]. Tosh's was unexpected though.

Why would anyone wants Gwen dead? Grrr! If she ever gets pregnant, with a human child, she'll have to go on maternity leave....

PC Andy? I don't recall him/her.

He is Gwen's friend from the police.:o

No crossover link to Doctor Who, wonder what brings Captain Jack back into that show? Liked how they explained why Tosh was a Dr in Doctor Who too....

Is he a regular? How the heck did I miss him?

Anyway, if you guys want to discuss this show with the absence of spoiler tags and no one else cares, go ahead. I personally don't care for spoilers with regards to this show myself, I just thought there might be those who do.

However, when it comes to TDK, I care and hence I avoid the Batboards like a plague. :o

He got bumped down to guest star this year after he said he was leaving last year he was a regular. :o
Ahh... no wonder I am not familar with him. I've only started watching the show this year.

Do you think the first season DVD boxed set is worth purchasing?

In truth I think you should torrent series 1 and see if you like it first, because even though I'm going to buy it (it's like £50/$100) it wasn't as good as the second series.:o
