Same here. That's why I went to see the films. I went in both times with no expectations and came out highly impressed. Sure as a G1 fan I loved it when little references were made but I am so far enjoying this new take on the franchise and the mythos.

Only 2 short clips at the start of the credits: Sam kissing Mikaela and Sam back in class.
I stayed until the very end waiting for the infamous Megatron scene but... nothing.

^ ah thank you, there is a Megatron scene at the end of the decepticon run in the video game, i was hoping it would of been in the movie as well but oh well, i guess it will leave surprises open for a third film.
