Transformers RPG Season I Sign up/OOC Thread

Yeah, I see what your saying. But Megatron was the best villian in TF history for Beast Machines! He was a cylinder and yet he caused mayhem and destruction galor! And the last 2 episodes of BW he was like a religous prophet for himself!

Since Q didn't, I will!

*pounds fist*

There are times in life where I feel humanity is going nowhere.

Then I hear announcements like this, and faith is restored.

*hugs* :yay:

Well, if I remember correctly, his body was used by Megatron, so whatever damage he did was probably from being forced to do his bidding.

I dug it. 'Twas an interesting twist on the whole Transformers series.
No. Once Thrust was Waspinator, Jetfire was Silverbolt, and Tankor was Rhinox, he wanted to be evil. He was out to kill Megatron and Optimus his former best friend. WTF is that!?

I mean, he didn't do half bad, but he pretty much kept taking other's ideas and using them instead. Towards the end, he was much MUCH more cunning, and in Beast Machines, he was devious.

Oh, he was a pretty damn good criminal mastermind. But he was still fairly dillusional. It was like the leader of a German street gang fancying himself the next Erwin Rommel.

Beast Machines I kind of didn't like. The explosions were horrible, and I hated the whole religious zen thing they tried to do.

I actually liked the religious aspect. Mainly because I've always liked the contrast of having really technological, sci-fi characters and backgrounds, and yet having some of the characters be deeply spiritual. But overall, Beast Machines did pale in comparison to Beast Wars.

Ah. My bad. It's been, like, a decade since I last saw BM.

I think Megs fell in love with himself. He was a pure Narcisist. (sp)

I just watch them all online.

Just finished the first season of G1. Luckily I've pretty much memorized the important events of Beast Wars and Beast Machines, so I don't have to rewatch them quite as badly. ;)

Alas, I can't find them anywhere and I'm pretty broke. :csad:
Me too! Yet I still find money to get the new movie figures. BTW, highly reccomend Blackout.

Youtube. I have them on DVD, but It takes effort to get the dvd out and all.

That was a great episode. I cried when I saw it first time. He truly is a noble and honorable warrior.

I like to think that my take on Ratbat has a bit of Dinobot in him. He's very much a sort of Samurai. He has rules and niceties that he feels he must obey, even if his fellow Decepticons don't. Basically, I write Ratbat as representing the rich culture and history of the Decepticons that's been washed away by Megatron's rise to power.

I'm actually doing that now. I'm up to the ninth episode. :woot:

Thanks. In my mind, both Dinobot and my take on Ratbat represent what the Decepticons used to be: Warriors, much like the Spartans or the Samurai who, while not always particularly nice, were honorable.
