Transformers RPG Season I Sign up/OOC Thread

I was thinking Ultra Magnus would probably be left behind or something by Optimus. Sort of like Shockwave was left behind by Megatron.

I'd PM people and try to forumlate an idea, but by that time, everybody would know, so I posted it here. lol

But Ultra Magnus, being the character I'm going to make him to be for the most part, would probably insist he came along, if anything, to make sure his "younger brother" wouldn't screw things up.

Ok, we'll say we all came from the cube, but it was lost years ago. Once the cube was lost, Cybertron started going to hell, and Megatron started his rebellion. It is still lost in the dark reaches of space, and the transformers hope to find it again one day. This way, we keep the focus for now on energon gathering, but Megatron could later start a search for it.

My name is Sentinel Prime and in my chest is the Autobot Matrix of Leadership, a repository of all knowledge of all Primes- the designation given to the leader of each generation of Autobots. As such, I am a Prime descended from Alpha Trion, and original Primus himself.

Primus- the first living robot, born of the Cube, an ancient artificat that breathes life into all things and is a source of energy that is without limit. It was the source of life on Cybertron, our homeworld.

History does not record how the cube was dislodged from Cybertron. Only that it was and that it now sails amongst the stars, its location--unknown. And so we have been forced to survive on remnants of the cube called energon.

For eons we lived in peace until one autobot, a young startup named Megatron attempted to accumulate more energon for himself than he needed in an attempt to overthrow the pervious Prime. His villiany and quest for power brought other autobot's to his side. Celebrating their betrayal, they have taken the name Decepticons.

Their supply of energon nearly exhausted, both Autobot and Decepticon alike have taken to search for energon on other worlds which have been left by the cube as breadcrumbs--clues to its unknown location.

As Prime, I have commisioned the secret construction of an Ark, a ship which will carry our greatest warriors to find energon and bring it back in the hopes of saving Cybertron. Megatron, hungry for power also searches for energon.

Should he accumulate too much energon he will become nigh unstoppable and I fear all will be lost. Not just for Cybertron, but for the universe itself.

This synopsis has my vote.

I'll say hold off on that. You're fairly new at all this, and I want to make sure that you know how things work before I let you take on 2 characters.

So unless my fellow GMs have something to say, I'm going to deny you for now.

I was thinking that Jazz could be in the middle of a Splinter Cell-type mission as the season opens, since presumably he'd be the senior field operative at that time, and wouldn't yet be head of Special Ops (he'd get that rank once Optimus is promoted). Any ideas on where a mission or something like that could possibly fit in just as we start the game?

Just thought about something, Q and I talked about this.

Would all the Decepticons mind Megatron handing out "forms" or assignments. For an example, Bonecrusher is the demolition expert so he'll become something on a military base so he can get close to the things that go boom.

Also, I found the "Bonecrusher Hates You" Thread..........

Anyway, I might pick up Powerglide as a 2nd character. I'm still undecided.

Also, byrd, I am fine with that. Starscream would have to be recon, and Soundwave is communications, scouting, and stealth missions.

Jazz's figure rules . My only complaint is that his shield is tricky to attach to his arm and even then, it feels really flimsy.

Yeah, I'll be getting them all, eventually. I remember getting all the old Beast Wars. Got almost everyone. i took em out the other day and transformed them all for like an hour.
