Wait wait. There's a bomb on the arc, and megs wants to attack the arc with the nemisis too, right?

When the Nemesis engages the Ark above Earth, and as some Decepticons start boarding the Ark, that's when Jazz reunites with the other Autobots. But he's too late to do anything to stop the failsafe virus that scrambles the Ark's guidance systems. Knowing that nothing can be done to stop the Ark from crashing to Earth, Jazz activates the Ark's tractor beam and drags the Nemesis down along with it.

Well this is stuff that happens later on. (kinda) So when is the bomb planted? Was this Megs's plan to keep anyone from following him?

I've been acting with the basic plot outline where the two ships fight and crash on Earth. If the bomb is deactivated, then there still has to be a reason for the crash and the Decepticons being on Earth along with the Autobots.

Well this is stuff that happens later on. (kinda) So when is the bomb planted? Was this Megs's plan to keep anyone from following him?

Ok, here both of you listen.

What if Megatron knows Sentinel will follow him the second he takes off. Because of this, he plants a bomb in the arc. While Bumblebee is on the Nemisis, he discovers this plan. He immediately re-acts by running back to the Ark to warn Sentinel and everyone, and disarm the bomb. This causes him to not have time to find out about the virus. While Jazz is on board, he discovers the bomb, but realises there are bigger problems. Once Megs takes off, the Ark follows him. He is pretty pissed his plan didn't work, so he activates the Virus. Then while the two ships are fighting throughout space, they eventually reach their destination, earth. The Ark's computer finally fails, and it starts to crash land. Jazz activates the tractor beam and pulls the Nemisis down with it, causing both ships to crash.


How's that? Ok for a compromise?

what i would be willing to allow is if Sentinel Prime sends both Jazz and Bumblebee on the mission. Jazz can sacrifice himself so that bumblebee can return with the information of the bomb in order to save the autobots. WHat they dont know at this time, is that attached to bumblebee is a modem of sorts which will upload the virus once he gets there.

and then Jazz can do his thing from the Nemesis. Is that cool?

Actually, Spike, that sounds ok. why problem did you have with it? I'm trying to please both sides here without a fight.

For my intro arc, I wasn't interested in doing a buddy-style thing. I wanted the whole "one man trapped behind enemy lines" feel. Teaming up with Bumblebee would've defeated that. Plus it makes Bumblebee look like a chump IMO. And, as he later pointed out, Sentinel Prime wouldn't use up energon and manpower to send two guys on the same mission.

Also, what if they meet up on the arc, and Jazz tells Bumblebee to go back to base to warn them while he stays there and tries to do what he can to stop them?

Eh, I guess I could do that if need be. It makes sense that one of them might stumble onto the other one after all, and doesn't really take us anywhere that our respective plots weren't already going to take us.

I don't think they know eachother anyway. They'd just be like, Who are you? A fellow Autobot. Now go tell the others. I'll stay here and hold them off.

OK, just for some clarification for anyone who may be confused by my last post, it takes place well after the events going on now with the Autobots and Decepticons on Cyberton, but well before the Autobots and Decepticons arrive on Earth. It's a bit of foreshadowing on what I'm planning with Optimus, and will also explain Sam's part in all of this.

P.S.: Anyone who can guess what the Matrix's location on Earth will become wins a No Prize.

Like I said, this is after the events happening now, so while SP hasn't passed the Matrix to Optimus in the current story on Cybertron, in Sam's arc that just started, Optimus already has it.

PLEASE READ

Ok. The plan for getting to earth is as follows. Megatron has has a scout out in space for a while searching for a planet with enough energon to fuel his army. Starscream, the scout, will find earth and tell megatron of this planet. Megatron will soon leave Cybertron to go to this planet. When he leaves, tha ARK will soon follow. They will be pursuing eachother for many ligthtyears. They will at somepoint enter a time warp so the timeon earth will be present and not past as is in Spider-man 9x17's post. Once they get over earth, their dogfight will bring both ships crashing down. After that, its up to the players. This is the plan that was formulated before the IC thread started as the means for the Ark and Nemisis getting to earth. Please keep all your ideas and arcs coherent to this plan.

Sorry to say, but due to personal reasons, I'll have to drop out of this RPG. I'll still probably post in the CAH RPG, but there's enough of a reason right now for me to stop playing.

Apprentice contacted me awhile back and expressed interest in picking up Ironhide. He told me Sunday he wanted to put an app up soon, but he still hasn't Incase he still wants to go through with Ironhide, he'd need some story on Cybertron and how he gets on the Ark to go to earth. Would anyone be opposed to me picking up Ironhide for the time being just to get him some backstory and get him to earth so when Apprentice does apply he won't be stuck?
