Alright, Lord Doom currently has Barricade as a character, and we have a storyline going with Prowl and him as brothers. Doom has only posted once as Barricade, and its been more than long enough to let the character be up for grabs. Im willing to let go of asperations of applying for Blaster to take up Barricade. It would be better for me to take up both ends of the story Ive created, and I think I could manage it. I know this is my first RPG, but its also my only RPG, so I could handle both characters. And if Barricade were a NPC again, another person could take him up with no knowledge of the storyline.

Just thought I should tell it to you guys.

Well, the expeditions of Autobots and Decepticons have reached Earth by now right? Unless a character like Thundercracker has been NPCed on Earth already, it just wouldn't make as much sense RPing him as having been on Earth with the rest of the Decepticons (I'm assuming they took a Space Vessel to Earth as opposed to just dropping there apart like meteorites like in the movie).

If anything Eddie Brock Jr., its just a me thing wanting to keep the continuity. Well, I could just say that Thundercracker flies to Earth or whatever anytime I like, but I'd like a better reason then "He just decides to one day fly to Earth to help the Decepticons."

As for playing a Decepticon primarily on Cybertron ... not as interested. I personally would enjoy RPing a transformer on Earth a lot more then on Cybertron.

I'm still the most interested in RPing Dr. Arkeville simply because I have come up with some interesting ideas for him, so please do ask Syn and 9x17. I could end up playing more then one character, but I'd like to keep it at a single character for right now (could change my mind though).

I realize that you haven't been reading everything, but you really should so you know what you're getting into. The Autobots and Decepticons are still in Cybertronian airspace, okay? They are light-years away from Earth. And furthermore, I believe that Thundercracker has been NPCed before anyway.

Yeah seems fine to me. But if it is the color scheme that bothers you for Ratchet, we can have one of our photoshop guys change the colors on the Ratchet design for the movie. Just throwin it out there incase you are interested.

Actually, that concept seems to only be true for the Ark at the moment. The Nemisis has all of its guys already named with re-enforcements coming to earth a little later in the RPG.



The doctor Arkeville or whatever I remember from season I. He worked with Starscream behind Meg's back with the whole Cybertron to earth arc. Now, I would let you pick him up, but first, you need to know everything thats going on.



Thundercracker is on the Nemisis trying to board the Ark.

Every Cybertronian was created by a mystical object called the Allspark. Wherever the Allspark is, it creates life, and also a source of energy called energon. The Cybertronians lived in peace for a time, and built cities and civilizations. But soon a group of Autobots rebelled against the leaders of Cybertron. They soon coined themselves the name, Decepticon for their deceptive ways. They formed a council of leaders and began their war with the Autobots. Civil War raged across the planet for centuries, and the cube somehow disappeared off the face of the planet. Both the Autobots and Decepticons didn't realize at the time that the cube had left the planet. Soon, as the war raged on and ravaged Cybertron, the energon supply on the planet grew low. Both the Autobots and Decepticons were running dangerously low, and they both new defeat was imminent if new energy wasn't found.

The current leader of the Autobots, Sentinel Prime, began a secret project of a grand spaceship called the Ark. Its purpose was to take a team of Autobots, and go into space, looking for a new energy source. Soon, the Decepticons caught wind of this construction, and began work on a ship of their own, the Nemesis. Its prime purpose was to destroy the Ark, and go in search of more energy to fuel their armies.

Soon, the construction on both ships was finished, and they both started to prepare for the voyage. Sentinel Prime appointed Ultra Magnus as the head of security. His job was to recruit Autobots, and guard the Ark until it’s departure. The Decepticon leaders knew that if they were to find a source of energy to supply their army, they would need to find a destination. They instructed a former scientist and explorer, Starscream, to find this new planet. So Starscream traveled into the depths of space, in search of a planet wit a sufficient energy source.

A former criminal and Decepticon leader known as Megatron soon became greedy for more power. He wanted to rule the Decepticons by himself, without the Decepticon council. The Decepticon council had been watching Megatron for years, knowing of his plans for treachery. They decided it was coming time to kill him, for fear that he may kill them all. Unfortunately, it was already to late. Megatron ordered his trusted gun toting trigger-happy demolitions expert, Bonecrusher, to blow up the council. He did as instructed, and Megatron became the sole leader of the Decepticons.

As new Leader, Megatron knew it was time to take out the Ark. He had a group of spies infiltrate the Ark, and plant a bomb. Meanwhile in Space, Starscream had been searching for over a decade in search of the perfect planet. Somewhere along the way, he went through a time warp, and entered the Milky Way galaxy. He discovered a planet with a high-energy reading, earth. He radioed back to Cybertron with his discovery, and went to earth to explore for himself.

Back on Cybertron, Sentinel Prime caught wind of the Decepticon craft’s construction, and had a spy, Bumblebee, infiltrate the Nemesis. Unbeknownst to the rest of the crew, Autobot spy Jazz had also infiltrated the Nemesis. (Its our guess he had come across it during one of his missions, and investigated.)

Both spies aboard the ship discovered Megatron’s evil plan and the secret bomb hidden on the Ark. Bumblebee was injured during his mission, and damaged his vocal processors. He quickly fled back to the Ark, to warn his teammates of the danger.

On Earth, (2003) Starscream investigated. He discovered that the dominant creature on the planet, were flesh creatures who use technology to do what they cannot. He took the form of an Earth jet, and went in search of a secluded island, to begin work on a secret lab. Before he left Cybertron, he smuggled six Decepticon mutineers’ sparks off the planet. These Decepticons tried to kill Megatron, and as punishment, they were stipped of their bodies, and their sparks were put into containment (jail). [the six Decepticons are the Combaticons] His plan was to begin a small army to over throw Megatron. He is currently building bodies for the six Decepticons, and building his lab. His plan is to have his lab finished before Megatron gets to earth, so he has a secret base that Megatron is unaware of, to aid his coming rebellion.

On Cybertron, Sentinel told his young friend and first in command, Optimus (not yet Prime) that if anything happens, he will be the new leader of the Autobots. Soon, Bumblebee makes it back to the Ark. He warns Sentinel of the bomb, and they go to find and disarm it.

Megatron and his Decepticons are now ready to depart. He gets his crew onboard the ship, and promotes Shockwave. He makes Shockwave the leader of the Decepticons on Cybertron in his absence, while Megatron leads his men in space. As they load onto the Nemesis, Megatron activates the bomb’s countdown on the Ark.

Back on the Ark, Sentinel and Bumblebee find the bomb. They are unable to disarm it, and Sentinel activates the Ark’s intercom. He informs his men that he is going to die sacrificing himself, and appointing Optimus to leader [Prime]. Sentinel takes the bomb, as it goes off. Somehow, a rift in time occurs, and Bumblebee and the Matrix are sent to earth. Because the official transference of leadership never occurred, the Matrix was with Sentinel as he died. The Matrix was blown into space, and went through a time rift, sending it into the 1880’s. It crash landed on earth, and has been there since. Bumblebee also got sent to earth [Year 2007] somehow.

As Optimus’s first order as the new Prime, he prepares the Ark for its lift off into space. As it begins to take off, the Nemesis also lifts off. In an attempt to make sure the bomb did its job, Megatron takes the Nemesis to the Ark’s launch pad. There, he discovers the bomb didn’t destroy the Ark, and opens fire on the ship. The Ark returns fire, and the two engage in a standoff. Megatron moves the Nemesis next to the Ark, and begins to board the Ark.

Now, Megatron and his team of Decepticons are fighting with Autobot soldiers led by Optimus in the hallway connecting the two ships. [Think beginning of Star Wars Episode IV] The two ships are slowly making their way off Cybertron in the midst of the conflict. Jazz is also trying to get off the Nemesis, and is in the hallway trying to get back on the Ark, lest he is left behind enemy lines. I excluded some details that pertain to character’s plotlines, but are irrelevant to the overall plot.

That’s basically the sum up of everything so far.

- What is the Matrix capable of doing on its own? Could it possibly bring Sentinel back to life if activated?
- Is the Allspark on Earth? Is it protected and hidden by humans as the Matrix is?
- Can the Allspark create new transformers out of just about anything mechanical (in the movie) or is it now only useful for giving vast amounts of energon to the transformers?

If you don't want alot of these questions answered in this thread, it'd be great if you could PM them to me, as I really want to play as Dr. Arkeville (who could possibley know about both items, as both could be in the hands of Sector 7), and in order to RP him correctly, it'd be good to know what each of these items are capable of.

1) Um...can't really answer that. Not cause its secretive, just cause I have no clue. The Matrix is where all sparks go when they are extinguished. Like the great beyond. And the Matrix of Leader Ship, contains ever past Prime who died. So I would imagine the bearer would have the wisdom and knowledge of all past Primes. Other than that, is anyone's guess.

2)Can't say for now. Its a Season II development.

3)The Allspark wherever it lands, creates life. It also leaves a power source called energon. This is what the transformers use for energy. So it is also a clue as to where its been or is. But it isn't renewable. Thats why Cybertron is running low. Allspark is gone, and because of that, they will get no more energon.

And the Allspark can make new transformers from technological stuff. But it won't be like the movie where anything it touches etc. becomes alive. You'll have to activate it some how.

I play Starscream, among others, in the RPG. Since he is building bodies for the Combaticons and making himself a lab, I did have plans for him to kidnap some scientists. But since his current continuity [at the moment] is in 2003, he is still building the lab and not worried about the combaticon's bodies. Now when the ships land and all continuitys get roped together in the year 2007, then he'll begin work on the bodies.

As for right now, I am still iffy about allowing a scientist. So pm ideas and persuade me to think otherwise.

Very well. JinnSato has been contacted as well. If neither one of them is able to give a logical explanation or promise that we'll see a Barricade post, then on Thursday night, I cut the ties. As I said, Lord Doom has done this before with the Green Goblin in the Ultimate Marvel RPG, so I can't say I'm fully suprised.

Alright, I just went through and read the WHOLE IC RPG thread and am fully up-to-date on whats going on. So now I feel that I'm ready to sign up as a transformer to this great RPG!

Charcter you plan on playing?: Thundercracker

Type of Vehicle?: Eurofighter Typhoon (slightly blue colored)

Team affiliation?: Decepticons

Any important previous Cybertronian details or stories for your character?: He is one of the three Seekers (him, Starscream, and Skywarp). As Starscream overshadows him, Thundercracker has always tried to be a step above him. Someday, perhaps, Megatron may look more favorably upon him.

Three Reasons you choose this character?:
1. He’s one of the original Seekers. It never hurts to have another jet among the Decepticons.
2. He is always trying to undermine Starscream and get him in trouble. The more trouble Starscream is in, the more Megatron can torture the blasted traitor!
3. Unlike most of the Decepticons, he actually shows some sympathy for the humans.

What can you bring to this RPG and your character?: I can support the Decepticons as we see the destruction of the hated Autobots! Oh yeah, and I can keep a sharp eye on Starscream. I also am up-to-date on the current events (I know that Thundercracker is among the few Decepticons on the Nemesis, which he's piloting alongside Skywarp).

With the levers firmly grasped, Thundercracker began to swing the ship to the left as Lord Megatron commanded. The Ark was in sight; the Decepticon slowly turned the Nemesis close to it, ready for his fellow transformers to board. This was it: the battle soon awaited. He was starting to get tense, but that wouldn't distract him from his duties.

He listened to Megatron's words intently, hoping that he may get the chance to join in the fight. As he heard Skywarp's name called, he felt fairly dissappointed. He looked up at his Seeking comrade with only a few words to say.

"Aw slag, you get to have all the fun Skywarp."

Skywarp gave off a slight snicker as he loaded his blaster. Thundercracker was quite jealous, but of course he'd never show it. He then let his optical circuits stare out towards the deep vastness of space.

Well, at least Megatron was willing to leave me in charge with the ship.

Just remember on CYbertron, they are all Cybertronian vehicles. Earth vehicles only happen on earth.

Also, he and Skywarp are boarding the Ark.
