Even if that wasn't a picture of an actual motorcycle suit, since when did TRON have nothing to do with motorcycles?
Ahaha pwnd.
Alright, allow me to put an end to this discussion;
The grid uses the main interface of video games - which is why Kevin Flynn was the main mastermind behind it all before Encom stole it from him - he was a game programmer and a hacker; he combined the two mediums into a seamless grid-world, later developments presented the technology to transmit real objects into the 3D grid.
Alright now lets examine a couple things, shall we? We know that the game/grid graphics look better in the digital world than when looked at from outside - see the opening shot of the first Tron movie.
Why do programs look like people to begin with? They don't... they're supposed to have the same base interface of video game characters on the grid - why? Because their encom servers are merged - and to have MCP moderate all the programs' activities and to make sure they were following standard procedure, they were made to be able to move, interact and govern throughout the game-grid.
Now if game graphics from the likes of pre-tetris to freaking Crysis in our world, imagine the freaking jump in graphics in there world - then imagine comparing the Light Cycle game graphics (from the film) to the light cycles in the grid, and then look at a game like Crysis... what do you think the graphics are gonna look like? BAM - Tron Freaking Legacy.
Still hell bent on the clothes not looking like the originals? The original suits were tights with light up piping - the new suits are... tights with light-up piping... what do you know!?

Why the difference in colour? Consider how much less a computer has to process for dark tones and blacks than whites... take this as your stupid little realistic explanation as to the colour change.
Why is the material different? Because the games are more dangerous - think of all the new kinds of games out now - dog fight games, fighting games, games with parcour, games with action, games with sword fights and lightsaber fights and FPS games - now you can bet all of these games being brought onto the grid will mean and enhancement in equipment.
If you STILL want to flame and troll, go play the DS version of TRON: Evolution (a DIRECT sequel to TRON), then play the Wii version (sequel to DS version), then the PS3/360 version (sequel to the Wii game) then watch TRON: Legacy (direct sequel to the PS3/360 game) - it'll explain the difference in graphics, aesthetics, design, new elements, even the change in the music - I'm not lying. Go play those and it'll answer all your questions.
Now please stop flaming so I can say what I came in here to say!!!
