All of them are well done but the last one gives off one hell of an epic feel.

Ya there was news posted back a page mentioning the possibly teaser on dvd/bluray release of legacy.

I agree - and it's sad that we dont get to see many painted poster's nowadays and its a damned shame. :csad: Give me a Drew Struzan embued with personality, heart and soul over some lifeless, generic, badly- photoshopped piece any day of the week.

Ah cheers, I didn't put too much effort into searching back.

I totally agree, the recent Drew Struzan collection that was released is stunning. One day I might be able to own the original canvas for The Thing.

I do however, quite like this Tron poster, but obviously the painted one is lightyears ahead.

Ya some times hard to go searching through a thread as big as this is. But always wise to at least go back a page or two just to make sure.

So, are we getting a 3?

Or, is it all speculation right now?

I'd die if we get a 3 will Cillian in lead. So awesome...

back in October Steven Lisberger said this.

http://screenrant.com/tron-legacy-steven-lisberger-rothc-85139/

Screen Rant: It’s not even been released yet, but the success of Tron: Legacy feels like a foregone conclusion, will there be a Tron 3?

Steven Lisberger: We’re working on the development of it, we’re playing with storylines. It’s officially in development, but we don’t have a script [yet].
And now its been said Tron 3 has been green lit with a teaser they made in November will be in the Tron Legacy dvd/bluray

Hey folks, Harry here in rehab for my back surgery. Today, it seems my equilibrium, center of gravity and legs have all begun shoring up. Still a long way to go, but damn - this is exciting to be living through. Almost as exciting as the details that I got from the footage that was shot BEFORE Thanksgiving of last year to be a teaser of the future, it seems.

I was contacted by someone that worked on the shoot for this DVD Extra. That this person's experience on set gave him, it will be made up of at least 3 scenes.

I'm kinda shocked ComingSoon.net isnt picking up on this article

I like how it looks like he has the pictures Marvel released of the characters where they look like they are from Tron.

''Flynn lives '' is from the viral marketing. sorry guys

can you read? re-read the article. In this supposed teaser it shows..

One includes Bruce Boxleitner (as Alan) and Dan Shor (as Ram). Turns out that "Ram" was apparently running the FLYNN LIVES campaign and he's frantically destroying all of that data and files, as Alan confronts him. Dan apparently utters the line, "Why did Kevin give you the cool name" - which means to my way of thinking that after Flynn came out of the Grid, he sought out the human soul of Ram and befriended him and started calling him RAM - you know - some geek that wrote that Actuarial Program that helped people plan for the future. I sorta love that. And love that the kindness Flynn showed this lowly geek, apparently created a gung ho champion for the life and memory of Kevin Flynn.

this was filmed in 2010 i guess. it was meant to be for the end credits or a hidden easter egg for the Blu-ray. now that the are not breaking records they are trying to make sure that every Tron fan knows about those extra scenes so that they will sell more BR's.but it would be better if they woudnt spoil it.

look those scenes dont mean that Disney will 100% make it. its a long path from end credits ....to greenlight....to movie

Well I am sure disney is still game for sequel. Merch has good sales still. They made the upcoming cartoon. Sure its not making avator numbers but it still has made a good box office draw domestic/international.

Well, it really hasn't made that well of a draw overall. Last numbers looks like it'll break even or maybe turn a small profit. It won't be an outright flop or anything, but I can't see it being a success in the box office. It's all up to the merchandising and home video at this point.

BR and DVD will need to explode. not because of the money. but so that they see if there is any interest.

i mean for the love of god Batman Begins was huge .

Batman Begins wasn't a domestic success either... it had a 150mil budget and a 200mil domestic gross - worldwide it had 370mil. For Tron Legacy we're looking at a 170mil budget, it will probably end with just over a 170mil domestic gross - worldwide it should pass 340mil (it only just opened in many European countries - still to open in a few Asian countries - and it's already passed the domestic gross. It's making a lot and picking up quickly worldwide).

In terms of both of those films, neither of them are domestic successes, but worldwide they are both successes. If Tron 3 can do what The Dark Knight did (lots of foreign advertising and a **** tone of domestic advertising and promos) I see it becoming a domestic blockbuster (not to the extent of The Dark Knight... but it'll double it's budget none-the-less).

i meant Batman Begins was hgue on DVD.

and i bet my life that Tron 2 was at least 80 mil more expensive then BB.

i guess BB was not a success since WB didnt want to do the sequel . the positive reaction with the DVD changed everything. and they got more positive reviews from critics and public.
