Jesus AND Tara? WTF are they going to do with Lafayette next season?!?!

I'm mad/sad.

I'm betting she'll come back not for Sookie, but for [blackout]Lafayette[/blackout]. How's he gonna feel if he learns that [blackout]he's lost his boyfriend and his cousin, really the only family he has left with his mom in the nuthouse, in the same night.[/blackout]

Oh s***, I completely forgot about Lafayette [blackout]having the demon transferred to him by Jesus. They're definitely going to capitalize on this next season by having Lafayette as a major player.[/blackout]

I just can't see them keeping Tara dead. There's just no way they'd do that to the Lafayette character. That would just be too much.

Maybe they'll turn her into a vampire. Remember Eric telling Pam it was time for her to become a maker.

But can vampirism affect a person who's brains are all over the floor?

Lafayette is a medium....those two will come back and visit him.

Tara only appeared to have the side of her face/head blown off. Not convinced she is dead.

[blackout]Tara's dead?!?![/blackout]

CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES, COME ON! (there's a celebration) CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES, COME ON!

I was very sorry to [blackout]see Jesus go[/blackout] and thought Bill and Eric's final scene with the Authority lady was great and the scene of the episode. Also, I got excited seeing that [blackout]Russell is back.[/blackout] Hopefully, they'll know what to do with him this time.

Decent finale. Not as good as the ones for season 1 and 2 (like the seasons themselves), but far better than the one last year.

lol thats how I felt too (about Tara catching it). Lets hope Sookie doesn't call her vampire goons to give her blood and revive her.

Its too bad about Jesus, he was a good character. When he died I thought "why couldn't it have been Tara?". Would have gladly traded her for Jesus.

Oh yeah, Red Riding Jessica is the hottest thing i've ever seen my entire life. That was UNREAL. I would violate all kinds of man laws and codes with that, sorry Hoyt.

Rev Newlin being a vampire is awesome, but he cant get in Jason's house without an invite right?

Dang. The Reaper really had his scythe swingin' this episode. :p Didn't lose anyone I much cared about except Tara though her character had really reached a dead end anyhow.

Pun intended!

Wonder who the main baddie is going to be next season. I really like how they bring in someone/something new each season.

I am not looking forward to Russell being back. *yawn*

I am curious about Terry's ole war buddy. The actor playing him is one I really like so I hope he sticks around a while. Was nice to see Rene again too, if only for a moment. Just love that Cajun accent! :p

Out of all the deaths,
Jesus
is the one that made me angry the most.
Finally a gay character who isn't a stereotype, and they kill him off.

I say [BLACKOUT]Nan and Debbie[/BLACKOUT] had it coming though. I've been waiting for[BLACKOUT] Bill to stake Nan the whole season, and it finally happened[/BLACKOUT]

And I don't see [BLACKOUT]Tara surviving that at all. She's dead, her heads all over the floor, and damn a lot of people die in that kitchen. Now just wondering if that was Debbie as the wolf with Sam, or if it was another wolf?[/BLACKOUT]

I gotta say , I really didn't like the final this season. To me ,It felt kinda rushed , sloopy, and lazy . The rest of the season was pretty good but the finale felt like they got a couple things right but it went off the rails with alot of the other storylines.

Spoilers
Imo they killed off way too many good characters , brought back a couple from the dead , to which I was like WTF, and ended the Marnie storyline in a way that was pretty weak given everything that lead up to it.

Not saying its terrible , but I felt this was the weakest episode this season.

Tara is the major cliff hanger of the season, I wouldnt count her out just yet. Im sure Bill/Eric heard her since they hear her every other time and it wouldnt make sense for them not to. But I had my suspecions something would happen to her due to them giving them the whole friendship scene at the beginning of the show. I doubt they will kill her off, but we will see. If they do I will be surprised but I would see them doing it only if they couldnt think of anything else to put her through. Though I keep thinking they are just going to turn her into a vamp.

But this is probably one of the best finales the show has had yet. I kept expecting to see Russel to pop up somewhere and kind of dissapointed we didnt get anything with the Fae.

Sookie choosing herself over being in a relationship wtih Bill/Eric gave me major Kelly Taylor flashbacks of "I choose me" with Dylan/Brandon. Though of course this was better done.

Shocked as **** they killed [blackout]Tara[/blackout]. Are some of you really trying to convince yourselves she isn't really dead? Let's get real for a second. I realize we're on a board that's essentially celebrating an artform that kills off characters right and left, and then resurrects them the very next month, but that ***** is dead. Sookie's floor is running red with her blood and brain matter, as a matter of fact. :o

A little sad they killed [blackout]Nan and Jesus[/blackout]. [blackout]Nan[/blackout] was a good ball-buster for those two p***y-whipped creatures known as Bill and Eric.

But this show really did need to clean house. I daresay they didn't go far enough. Jason, Arlene, Andy... they all could've died, as far as I'm concerned.

I just find it suspicious that they would go out of their way to show us that a certain portion of her head is gone instead of just blowing off the majority. But we will wait and see. Ive always liked Tara even if they used her and abused her. Im mad that they showed us she turned into this big fighter in the premire then she never gets the chance to kick some butt! She finally wouldve had the chance but no.

I am glad that I thought wrong about what they would do with Hoyt. Knowing that Steve Newlin would be back, I was sure that he'd be so pissed that he joined up with the Fellowship of the Sun (if it even exists anymore). I do wonder what they plan to do with him next season, though.

Holy S**t.

It happened. It finally happened. After 3 mediocre or bad tries, they finally made a finally that was amazing. I thought the ending of Marnie's arc was okay, but the last 10 minutes, DAMN. Love seeing the old faces, [BLACKOUT]like Russell and Newlin, (though I know Jason is fine because Newlin needs to be invited in). [/BLACKOUT]That, in addition the Vampire mutiny, along with what happens to the other characters makes me anticipate the next season greatly, which is a stark contrast to last year's finale where I wasn't excited about True Blood at all.

Newlin could easily Glamor Jason into letting him in... But if he's in any danger Jessica would be aware and race right back to Jason.

Sean from Scrubs! :woot:

I didn't expect much. But ended up really enjoying the **** out of it. This finale really gave me everything I have been wanting for years. Mainly the ending :awesome:

Good, solid finale but man, what an overall mediocre season. Storylines were literally all over the freaking place. What the hell was the point of the faeiries? What was the point of that whole Bill/incest situation at the beginning of the season? Was there any point to Sookie and Eric swooning over each other all season?

I'm really hoping next season takes a step back and tones things down ALOT. Cut out all the unnecessary storylines and put the focus back on vampires. The show was at its best when it was about Vampires and their integration into modern society.

Wait [BLACKOUT]Tara died? :awesome:[/BLACKOUT] Maybe now I can actually watch this show again without feeling compelled to throw a brick through my TV every time I hear that [BLACKOUT]chalk-on-blackboard voice[/BLACKOUT]. It was the main reason I stopped at the end of season 2 (that and Jason was reaching Homer Simpson levels of stupidity).

I'm far more excite, thrilled, ecstatic even that [blackout]Newlin[/blackout] is back...and a [blackout]Vampire[/blackout]?! ****! But Russell returning the way Season 4 ended sounds promising. Just bringing him back wouldn't have swayed me, but if Bill & Eric are on the run from [BLACKOUT]the Authority and American Vampire League[/BLACKOUT], Russell being thrown in just oozes some great story.

Hmmm...[blackout]Debbie[/blackout]'s dead. I figured that exact scenario would happen, almost exactly as it did ([BLACKOUT]not the Tara part[/BLACKOUT]). Just her entering Sookie's house with a shotgun, and Sookie either grabbing her shotgun from her, or getting to one of her own and blowing [BLACKOUT]Debbie[/BLACKOUT]'s brains out.
For a second there, I did think she would show Debbie mercy. I really wanted Debbie to make it. She could have been fine-ish had Alcide given her the time of day. Her attempt on Sookie's life was still f'ed up but it wouldn't have come this this if Alcide hadn't been chasing after another woman's ass while Debbie needed him most.
Funny; it makes me hate Alcide a little, yet I still want to be a Alcide fan and wish him the best for Season 5. Just actually DO SOMETHING IN THE MAIN PLOT THIS TIME.
