The Dark Knight Rises Two-Face to return?...Maybe

Oh Jesus.

He even mentions Depp and Angelina.

*slams head on desk

hopefully neither of those two will be cast for anything involving batman

Angelina Jolie would be an awful catwoman first of all

Depp is a good actor but if he played the riddler it'd probably be really similar to his Willy Wanka role just a little less flamboyant... or more flamboyant.

I think Nolan has crearly come off as a person who doesn't want to cast Movie Stars for his lead roles, but actors instead. if he wanted movie stars George Clooney would be Batman again. I hope you guys understand what I mean The time of people who are in 2-4 movies a year cause they don't want you to forget about them... the type that are always in gossip magazines.... the type that play almost the same character every movie.

I;m really surprised at the people claiming Two-Face's crimes in the movie were awesome because they were personal. Seriously, even I got a little upset that Nolan used Dent as a revenge/"NOT FAIR!" character. One of my favourite parts about Two-Face is that even after he is scarred, he still keeps himself professional. He doesn't even kill Maroni, Holiday does it. No, he sees that the root of the problem lies with Falcone, and dispatches him when Falcone had next to nothing to do with Dent being scarred.

That is the Two-Face I love and would like to see in the third film, an antagonist who's goals are similar to Batman's and makes you question "Is this guy's methods actually better?", "Could simply killing them rather than letting them get away time after time be the necessary option?"
That's what I want and have yet to see from a movie Two-Face, I want Dent to target the mob and crime and bring it down in a way that Batman and DA Harvey never did, permanently. And I want to see the moral jeapordy that follows in his confrontations with Batman and the freaks.

well if he does come back Im sure he will be a bit more of a villain after we seen no one could talk him out of killing the child of one of his old friends... thats pretty sick...... but I honestly don't think Two Face planned on walking out of that alive... but if Batman by tackling him somehow managed to just put him in a coma or whatever he will be pretty deranged when he wakes up....

I do think he is dead but If Nolan had a good way to bring him back that works.... I would love it Im sure... he is the 2nd best villain, I just think Nolan should stick to his instincts and original plans....... if he wanted joker back recast don't write him out due to ledgers tragic death.... if he wants dent alive, keep him alive, I loved Begins and TDK blew me away.... i just hope the 3rd one is even better...

I loved the long halloween Harvey too, even when he killed falcone and the assistant D.A who provided the acid and what not.... how when he was first arrested by gordon and batman he looked a bit sad he snapped, he gave himself up for arrest.. and said something along the lines of "lets see how the court handles Harvey Dent.... (or as it Two Face)?..... then Dark Victory had his REAL great story... as the villain though he did still save gordon from the hang man....

BUT I really love how in TDK Nolan made him lose his love and how the coin was scarred with her passing (blowing up) and him seeing she was dead in the hospital, that scene was powerful.. the scream with no sound.....

one thing that kindof annoys me about TLH was Gilda was alive and well and he still took the villains path adn went killing,,, TDK makes him more of a hero... who lost it... almost like Ra's doing the league of shadows after his love was taken from him.. or how bruce wanted to murder joe chill..... I think it makes people more human when the snap after losing loved ones... I know personally for me it would....

and yes Dent could be alive... its not that hard to pull off they couold basically do what happened in Dark Victory just adjust some things. I'd like to see Scarecrow again but thats another story... but Two-Face could easily be in a coma at Arkham and miraculously wake up just as the asylum is being broken into and escape. I'm not saying they need to have a jury in the sewer consisting of Grundy, Joker, Scarecrow, Penguin, and the rest of them.... Which would be ridiculous in a movie....but its not that hard to bring a character back to life. first off its based off a comic book, second its a movie and people never come back to life in any movie right.

I wasn't saying he couldn't Im saying I have a feeling he won't... but my feelings mean nothing Im not a jedi... I would love to have scarecrow back aswell... the whole freaks being released would be amazing as a climax and at the same time have it revealed two face is alive and well.... personally If they recasted Joker he would have to be the one to let them all loose...

it would be a great 3rd act of the final movie.... to have the freaks finish off a very small amount of the mob that could have survived since joker took all the big wigs out in TDK... I still would love to see both the riddler trying to help the police get batman... more so like a detective how he is often protrayed now... and catwoman I'd like to see too... I guess its cause my favorite Batman story's involve the whole cities characters

TLH,DV,Hush, Arkham Asylum

I'm just saying I wouldn't care either way if they brought him back or didn't it could go either way the movie has to be good is the main thing.... hopefully if Catwoman is cast its not Angelina Jolie and like I said above Depp could do the Riddler.. but I'd prefer to see someone else cause Depp has played characters with similar personalities to the Riddler's already... I'm pretty sure when the roles are casts 90% of people are gonna go who when they say the actors names cause they'll probably be people like Christian Bale an actor I only knew because I love American Psycho... or Heath Ledger. When my GF told me he was playing the Joker the only movies I could think of that I'd seen him in were 10 Things I Hate About You and A Knights Tale. and you'd never guess they'd be awesome in their roles back then, but they were... I know you might say didn't you just contradict yourself it may seem that, but I know those two can act. by act I mean play different characters. Angelina Jolie only has 1 action character I've seen far to many of her movies any of them that aren't action movies she usually comes off as someone who can't act and the support cast upstages her.

yeah, Angelina Jolie is really really goodlooking and would look good, But I agree her acting kind of lacks a bit... Johnny Depp is a tremendous actor but I also wouldn't want him as the riddler.... Id prefer if they recast Joker he did that, Terry Gilliam is another director who (for the most part) is really amazing to me, and after Heath passed and he decided to salvage Dr Parnassus he said something like "all I could think of first is call Johnny" because he is a great actor... apparantly both actors were fond of each other aswell... Im sure if they recasted him he could pull it off, I've never seen a Johnny Depp movie where I thought... this guy can't act... which is saying more than a lot of actors... my only problem with Johnny is sometime I get a bit sick of his face, cause I think a lot of people like him for the wrong reasons.... though it's not his fault as a actor.... Casey Affleck is definitly my top choice for The Riddler though..... If it wasn't for X3 Ben Foster would be okay aswell... he was good in 3:10 to Yuma ... smaller, thin.....kindof creepy and pathetic.... which works, and I think could be put into the role of the riddler aswell

Yay :woot: I'm not alone in the Hype!

Ummmm, lets not forget the League of Shadows. Just because Ra's is dead(maybe) does not mean that their mission to destroy Gotham is forgotton.

How about this - they have access to the Lazarus pools. They steal Dent's body, (or find Ra's, or both), revive him, and start him back on a mission to help destroy Gotham. The revival process may prove to be so tortuous that he is even further bent, an maybe even more receptive to suggestions from the League that Batman must die.

^ please, no.

And Talia is played by Angelina, and a new character is introduced to lead the League - Bobby Al Ghul (Talia's long lost cousin), and he is played by Johnny Depp.

But see, that’s just the easy part. Turns out that Bobby has a twin brother named Brad (played by Guy Pierce) who opposes the League, and Bobby has locked him up on Dinosaur Island to prevent him from interfering, which helps explain why he thinks that Two-Face is the ideal candidate to help them advance their cause. Once revived, Two-Face goes to Gotham, and recruits a new helper, The Riddler (played by Dave Chappelle). Together they go on a terror spree, capturing Batman, who has to be saved by a new character – ROBIN. No one knows who Robin is, until the end, when he is revealed to be Brad Al Ghul. Also revealed is the fact that Bobby and Brad are not really brothers, but in fact Bobby and Talia are brother and sister, and their real father is Anakin Al Ghul. Brad’s real father is revealed to be Alfred, who has been training Robin for years in secret, stealing gadgets and techniques from Bruce Wayne. Talia finally shows up, blazing away with her two big guns (wait, that's a different movie). Actually Talia has been busy recruiting a new ally, The Mummy, (played by Vin Diesel). The Mummy shows up at the end, setting the stage for Batman 4.

^ haha oh man that's a nightmare!!! :hehe:

^can we just skip all of that Ra's and just bring in Damian Wayne... jk

I really wish they'd try to bring in Robin I know the excuse is well this is young Bruce Wayne he didn't need Robin..... but its a whole lack of using the source materials I feel like they didn't read The Long Halloween, but Just got someone to some up things if they read Dark Victory maybe they'd see you can do Robin. Robin isn't some rich creepy guy who thinks he's a super hero forcing a boy to wear little shorts and fight crime. It's a man taking in a boy who's parents just died in front of him, something Bruce Wayne relates to for some strange reason. I don't know why I felt the need to say it we all know it, I wish the general public just knew it.

i kinda thought the entire ras/league of shadows storyline ended when ras blew up in a train.

I realize you are joking, but it ain't funny.

Talia Al Ghul seeks revenge for the death of her father
Once again Gotham shall burn...

When she finds out Batman is Bruce Wayne, she tears of her clothes and has sex with him on the spot. Damien Wayne is born...

Actually, leave the second idea. It is silly...

i hope they dont use talia in the 3rd movie. so far both movies can stand alone, and i prefer the third to be the same. if they did bring talia back, she would have to be involved with the main villain, she cant be the main one IMO. Lame.

huh? Why not?
It's the ultimate revenge story!

I think it should be the 4th movie which should preferably have Nightwing in it
Talia Al Ghul is the most dangerous female character in the Batman Universe

Also, I wonder why Harvey... I mean Aaron talked about his fate in such a specific manner. "If he's not dead... then he is in a serious coma..."
Where did the Coma come from? Did he mean Dent fell into a coma? :hehe:

Eh, I just don't see Two-Face returning as a big character in BB3 (let alone a supporting one at that) -- it would be an emotional cop-out in terms of revising the ending of TDK for one, and both the director and Eckhart have gone and said that Dent's not coming back time and time again.

For flashbacks and such, bringing Eckhart back is perfectly logical if the story demands it. Either that or he's pulling everyone's leg.
