The Dark Knight Two Face

Jesus! did you even LIKE batman begins!? i think that Heath will be just fine as the Joker. and who cares if he is too pretty, they can do ANYTHING with makeup these days. even make Joan Rivers look human! and as far as the voice of Christian, i think it was absolutely imperitive that they give him a completely different persona than his bruce character. it gave him a darkness that was believeable. and although i still think that the guy who killed bruce's parents in bb...

would have made a great joker, i guess that's what he gets for being a nobody in hollywood.

and as for Harvey. BILLY DEE WILLIAMS! so underused in the original Burton's batman as Harvey. no fair. bwahaaahaha!

Noone was even talking about Two Face until I made this thread, now there is a twenty something page sticky on the front page on casting Dent. And there is no mention of course of anyone over 40 in it.

I would like one of these two to get the role:

Liev or Matt Dillon.

Matt Dillon always comes off as a sleaze though. I dont know if I'd be able to like his character before the accident. Maybe it's just the roles he's given, but somethng about him makes me dislike him.

Whilst we're on the Two Face issue - I once heard that Justin Timberlake was going to cast him??

I laughed.
Justin Timberlake is in charge of casting for The Dark knight?

If Ledger truly is cast as Joker, I will lose a lot of confidence in the next film and the casting of TwoFace. I don't want everyone in the film to look like underwear models. It's getting real boring real fast, and Bale's hoaky porn star bat voice has got to stop. It's funny in the way the wrong way, the way which involves me laughing at the film. It takes itself way to serious for a movie where Batman gets in the floorboard of the batmobile every five minutes when driving; it's more than a little over the top for something that goes out of the way to try and make it seem like the most real hero movie.

If they want to make it seem real then they can make it more of a detective story than a superhero flick; I'd like something simpler like that, no vast conspiracies to destroy Gotham, this is Batman, not Superman. Put the bat against psychos, serial killers, and gangsters.

I agreed up until the part about the Batmobile, but I totally agree that if Phillipe gets chosen it'll just not look right. I always pictured Dent being about the same age as Bruce or a little older in his years, but Bruce was wiser than Dent despite the age difference. If you have Phillipe it'll come off as he's just a new, hot-shot D.A. but if you have Schrieber he'd come off as a man who's seen the ups-and-downs of the district attorney life and make it out like his mission is to clean up Gotham even if it means aligning himself with a corrupt crooked police department and a vigilante who wears a bat costume.

I liked how Gul was cast in Begins.

I could see, as someone else on the boards suggested, Joker killing the scarecrow.

I would enjoy seeing Joker spray hallucinogens in people's faces from his flower (and not just acid; stretch the gag).
