Xbox is a console that has a few good games, but most are crap.

The Xbox actually had a lot of great games, especially during 2004 which propelled the Xbox to actually outsell the PS2 for weeks on end.

Oh I went there.

PS2 had a volume of great games (heck it STILL has an upcoming release list that owns) that the Xbox couldn't touch. THough the Xbox had 2 really good western RPGs and the best shooter franchise, that goes without saying. It had arguably the best action combat game, but that doesn't make up for the PS2 having so much diversity that it delivered in amost every front (except western RPGs and shooters) both casual and niche, and that's why the PS2 was so much better and deservedly sold more.

and if you disagree you clearly have ****ty taste.

Now so far it looks like the Xbox360 has an exclusives advantage. THings are still early though, but I'm not putting much faith in that hack Dynack that you guys lap up because it's convenient. If you want to talk about overhyping, just look at how he said Too Human will 'change the world'.

I love both the PS2 and the Xbox, but I have to say I fully agree with what you are saying.

Well, for alot of people.. pansy emo RPGs and mediocre shooters are not what make a console. For many gamers on this board, Western RPGs and FPSes make up a lot of their gaming library and taste it seems.
