Age of Ultron Ultron! We Would Have Words With Thee! Official Thor/Chris Hemworth Thread - Part 1

So is Vision supposed to serve as
Thor's replacement on the Avengers Team? It seems like War Machine is meant to serve as Iron Man's replacement after Tony retires from active duty. So given on how Thor proclaims Vision to be the savior of Humanity when it came to Ultron, along with how he can wield Thor's hammer, is he meant to serve as Thor's replacement on Earth while Thor goes away?

Doing that one time nonchantly doesn't nean he'll be able to do it all the time.

Is BW somehow Cap's replacement because they can both kick really hard and she totally has the shield in one scene?

Oh wait, no, they're different characters with distinct personalities and power overlaps do not make a character totally redundant.

Yeah but here in the states it's something cool to attend if you can't make red carpets and all

In 12 hours I'm sitting in the theater for my first viewing, hoping to see the God of Thunder in all his glory! :thor:

Be sure to come straight here as soon as it's over lol.

Just over an hour to go. Are we allowed to post reviews in this thread if I put big spoilers in tags Vartha? A girl at work is being taken to see AOU by her husband for their wedding anniversary. I think she would have preferred diamonds but her hubby is a huge Marvel fan.

Thor is definitely more powerful in this movie compared to AVENGERS1 and Thor1 &2. He definitely seems to be the most powerful of the original six as he effortlessly owns baddies.

Thor was funnier in this one that in the previous film. His reaction to Vision lifting the hammer was priceless, and I love his bonding moment with Vision over it.

Wish there had been more Thor in the movie but there was so much crammed into it that no doubt fans of all the characters will be wishing for more screen time for their favourite.

Loved Thor's interactions with
Vision
, however brief. Could have watched a whole movie with just those two.

Thought that
Selvig's
appearance in the movie was completely pointless. No idea why they bothered.

So apparently Thor does something ridiculously powerful in this film.

Can someone spoil just that for me? Thanks.

I had heard the screentime was very evenly balanced this time around.

So I don't think I'll be disappointed with Thor's screentime.

well I have not heard that but have done my best to stay away from major spoilers. Although some of the reviews posted online have spoiled some of the story. I hope Thor does something really powerful.

I've heard Thor was more powerful this time around than in A1 or Thor 1&2?

Is that correct? Did Thor get some really cool action bits this time around?

Care to give some examples?

Back from my two viewings and Thor is very well represented in this movie. His character is written well, he's very powerful and also has some cool team up moves. From my point of view no one should have to worry that he's used poorly in the movie.
