Yes, sorry had you not seen it yet?

Ah sorry mate. :csad: Can't even remember if it was a spoiler or whether it was known ahead of time. It wasn't some huge reveal from memory.
it's all good |ceman, don't worry about it. I'm not really into indy jones so you didn't spoil anything. :yay:

If he's not really into Indy then you have nothing to be sorry about, only the makers of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull should be apologizing.

I'm sorry he's not into Indy. What could be worse for the poor fellow than that? :csad:

Yikes, not into Indy or Star Wars. Boo this man :o

What happened to you, Baneful? Was George Lucas your annoying neighbor or something?

i wonder if square enix would've accepted the timed exclusive deal with mS if it happened after Uc4 was announced delay.

Good for Forbes, I don't agree so haha. I did think the new Tomb Raider was great and can't wait to play the new one. But the Uncharted trilogy for me is better. And cannot wait for 4.

I love them both, and I LOVED the TR reboot much more than Drake's Fortune, but not better than the other two UC games once I finally got to play those. I look forward to being able to play the TR sequel (whenever that may be), but I expect UC4 to be the better of the two games.

the tomb raider reboot had more depth in gameplay than the uncharted games, but I still enjoyed them more than tomb raider myself.

I gotta say the Tomb Raider reboot was much better than the first uncharted, as it rightfully should've been due to huge advancements in technology. But its pretty close to the second one maybe it slighty edges out UC2. But its not better than the third game for sure. And I too fully expect UC4 to be better than the TR sequel.

Most people might say Uncharted 2 slightly edges out Uncharted 3, but regardless, it's not fair to compare TR to games that were released 4-5 years prior, when developers were just figuring out how to make games for the PS3.

And both series have their pros and cons. Uncharted is a simpler game in terms of gameplay because up until 4, all you do is punch and shoot and climb, and it's constant throughout the game, whereas Tomb Raider is more of an RPG in that aspect, which I personally prefer. But Uncharted has a charm that makes you care about numerous characters, whereas in Tomb Raider, the writing and characters were not that great and the only person worth caring about is Lara.

yeah if one did that, then it would be more accurate to compare Uncharted 1 to Tomb Raider Underworld

yeah Uc1 was a lot of new things for ND, namely it was their first shot at 3rd person shooter (I think) unless the jak & daxter series had shooting in it, then i'm totally wrong about that.

Uc2 was a masterpiece imo. TR's gameplay has more depth, but overall Uc2 is a better game to me. Uc3 would've been an even greater followup IF, it had a final boss. The lack of one was a huge bummer to me. That alone is why I put Uc2 above it.

But the general consensus is Uc2>Uc3 anyway.

As for TR, I can't always tell but I think a lot of people consider the uncharted games better. The reboot also probably took some inspiration from uncharted, which is sorta ironic considering uncharted in the first place was probably inspired by TR
