Uuhh uuuhh uuhhh! (zombie talk for...THE OFFICIAL 'DEAD RISING' THREAD!!)

I just started playing the game again yesterday after neglecting it for ages, and I've been stuck on the medicine run. Can someone tell me how to make it back to the security room on time? It gives barely any time to begin with, and I don't see how it's possible to kill the store owner, pick up the medicine and make it all the way back.
 
Do the Genocide achievement and get an ending to unlock the real Megaman blaster, the guy goes down in about two or three shots. :up: Otherwise get some shotguns and whatnot.
 
I still need to get this, Lost Planet, Rainbow Six Vegas (if there are a lot of SP Achievements) and Saints Row.
 
Both rental stores by me went out of business. It's buy or nothing for me. :(

However, with Bioshock releasing at the end of this month, and there being at least one large release every two weeks from then on, I should be able to keep myself occupied until those games in my previous post drop to $19.99.
 
Can anyone tell me how it's possible to survive for five days, let alone seven in infinity mode? I just tried playing it for the first time and I only lasted a day and six hours. If I hadn't had my mega-blaster I probably wouldn't have lasted half that.

Stock up on the clown's mini-chainsaw. It's by far the best melee weapon in the game. Sneak behind the store owner and just start hitting him; he'll go down in like three hits. Then just run your ass off. That weapon will get you through just about every boss battle in the game.

I just sold my Wii for $300 and used it toward a new Xbox 360.
$482 later, I have a new Xbox, Dead Rising, and a play and charge kit.

Although I do feel a little violated having lost such a large amount of money in one place, I think it's for a good cause.
I'm a huge fan of anything dealing with zombies and I love this game.
Frank West could give that assclown Chuck Norris a run for his money any day.

I already used up the clown's chainsaw. :csad: :up:
 
you don't need a bunch of the mini-chainsaws. I'd have to check which ones, but there are three books that you can pick up (I'm pretty sure one of them is entertainment, but I'd have to check) that will make those bad boys last a ridiculously long time.
 
Man I loved this game. It's 100% the reason I bought an Xbox 360 when I did. I can't wait for some info on Dead Rising 2.
 
I want to pick this game up, but I'm waiting for it to hit $19.99. I think it will this Christmas.
 
Ok I feel really dumb.
After running through the mall over at least 20 times, I now just realized today that there is a sword shop next to the grocery store.:dry:
That could have saved my ass numerous times if I knew about it.:csad:
 
I felt that bad when I realized a sickle was sitting by the waterfront park bench. :(
