Valentines day is just stupid now....or it always was but i never realised till i was older.

I've had my share of girlfriends here and there, but I've always found myself single during Valentine's Day. Now this year, I actually have a girlfriend this time around and I told her how I never had a Valentine (she never has either). I pretty much just told her "Why start now?" I don't need one day in the whole year to be affection towards her or tell her how much I love her. So, we're not doing anything.

Roses, cookies, card and dinner at Cheesecake Factory for the wife.

For the kid, Linkin park T-shirt and wristbands (upcoming concert), card, chocolate and a few new songs for her iPod.

I remember as a young I hated Valentine's day so much when I received valentines I stashed them in the desk next to me which was empty.

this happened to me i broke up with a girl the day before valentines and it didnt even register to me for some odd reason . we are both a'holes.

Not doing anything in general. Neither of us see the need to. We'll probably go out on a normal date the next day, though. Not for v-days per se, but I did buy her No Reservations on dvd (she's a big fan of Catherine Zeta-Jones)
