I loved it from the first ever spider-man playstation game when venom "surfed the web". Man, that was funny.lordofthenerds said:Some people have been saying that they want Venom to quip out a few wisecracks in the movie. So what the hell, seeing as there's nothing better to talk about, here's a thread on it. Use this thread to post what wisecracks you want to here from Venom.
that would be coolShonkie said:heres one "Spider-man, spider-man, squashed like only a spider-can, eat his brains, drink his blood, throw him down with a thud, look out: i'll eat the spider-man"
it was on a venom trading card i had as a kid
.very cool, that was perfectReikowolf said:this is fromt he 90's toon
"from now on.. we're poison to you, that's why we call ourselves.. Venom"
.Which is exactly why I have always feared a comedic Spider-Man on screen, I just can't see it working out, no matter who plays the role.Spider-Bite said:I don't want Venom joking around. It will be corny as hell. For one thing, if he makes you laugh, then he wont be scary or dramatic. He will come off as goofy. And if his jokes don't make you laugh, than he comes off as stupid. There is nothing worse or more annoying than a comedian who isn't funny.
its not bad that spidey doesnt make that many wisecracks, "hers your change was funny", maybe, in the new movie, we will hear a couple of wisecracks from spidey and venom.Vulcan said:It's funny because in the comics and the cartoon, Spidey shoots a wisecrack in basically every battle. But in the movies all we get is: "Here's your change!"
yeah, but, not like the joker or anything or green goblin, just, regular jokes.Vulcan said:I hope so. That's part of his personality, to make humor out of a situation.
Felix Fangor said:I personally would like to see Venom move around kinda lika a primate does, have him crawl around like a primate for added creepiness. Where Spidey has more acrobatic agility, Venoms movements should be more savage.
the classic venom walks on both feet, if he is ganna walk on his hands and feet, it should not be used once or twice, but, im hoping for the classic venom, the one that walks on two feetSamuraiSon6 said:i feel that way too, not so much that it is overbearing and he is only remembered for crawling on all fours, but juding from the comic con trailer he might do it a little, i think it could be a nice touch if not overused!
.yea that's what I mean.spidermanhero12 said:yeah, but, not like the joker or anything or green goblin, just, regular jokes.
We may see him walk on all fours when the symbiot is in complete control. I don't think it will be throughout the whole movie (or the part of it that Venom's in).spidermanhero12 said:the classic venom walks on both feet, if he is ganna walk on his hands and feet, it should not be used once or twice, but, im hoping for the classic venom, the one that walks on two feet.
i dont want venom to be too animalistic and sort of a beast, i want him to walk like he does in the comics, on both feet.Vulcan said:We may see him walk on all fours when the symbiot is in complete control. I don't think it will be throughout the whole movie (or the part of it that Venom's in).
venom is not all animal, eddie brock is still behind that suit, the symbiote has taken over him, almost completley.Felix Fangor said:On fours or two feet...I think (big emphasis on 'think') we can all agree that Venoms movements shouldn't be acrobatic like Spider-Mans...his fighting style isn't as finesse an more based on brute force than agility. Spidey is more of a trapeze act and Venoms style is more animalistic, more savage in a sense.
When you think about it, Venom moves more like a spider than Spider-Man does. The only advantage Spider-Man has over Venom is probably his reflexes, because Eddie Brock was never bitten by a radioactive spider.
