Sequels villains Spidey 4..has anyone read this?!

About villains, I would love to see The lizard! But Kraven I've never really liked that much... although I read mostly the venom and carnage era I read a few comics with him and he's okay I guess, but I don't know how they could bring him over to the big screen...
Not saying I want Carnage, he's just a lame copy of Venom...

Didn't Avi Arad leave Marvel? I don't think he should be, for better or worse, an influence on any future Marvel films (with the exception of Iron Man).

Avi's in charge of their movie division now and I post again something I said before...because I still fell these sentiments: Start anew.

Enough with the "poor Peter is a loser,...let's get a close up of Toby making ugly faces, accentuating the fact that he's a loser and have him cry", way that they're doing these movies. I really think he's getting paid by the ugly face. My count is about three ugly face shots a movie.

Maximum Carnage? Please thats one of the crappiest stories out there. Its just a 14 issue slugfest just to boost sales cause "Carnage looks KEWL". It was better as a video game.

Suprised this isn't much attention being paid to these rumors... I mean this is the third different source that has cme out with the same scoop... if you ask me... it's time to panic... obviously we are a year and a half away from villain confirmations... but this keeps the anxiety levels up.

I didn't include that Cinematical.com article in my "Lizard in SM4" thread, simply because I just don't buy it. While Cinematical is a legitimate site in that it's part of Moviefone, I don't think they've been around long enough to deserve a reputation as a reliable source.

This sounds like the type of unconfirmed report that said that Man-Wolf was going to be in SM3 a couple years ago.

Actually, we do know that David Koepp is writing SM4 and that Alvin Sargent has the option to write it too.

I don't buy it at this stage. So much can still change even if this had merit (like Lizard being in SM2 or Vulture in SM3).

Just troublesome because a lot of people are still banking on Lizard/Kraven... but the studio may feel thats too much a let down in terms of action... I just think they are defintely gonna go all out if they can get this cast back for another one... and that would pretty much mean Carnage... or at least Electro paired up with someone else ON TOP of Lizard. I can defintely see that disaster a mile away.

I doubt we see Lizard and Kraven. It was in the SM3 game. I will bet they don't do it (though it works well).

I think the Lizard and Carnage is quite possible. As is Lizard and Electro. But we just don't know yet. Many things can change between now and the final script and casting.

kraven would be terrible in sm4. give me the lizard since his character has been in the past movies. also to tie the story together i wouldnt mind seeing man-wolf to try and get back at peter parker for stealing his woman.
