People might laugh but Oprah isn't a bad actor. Her playing a manipulative government agent that likes to install bombs in peoples heads would be a hoot.

Davis or Spencer would be great too, in fact I would say they got this role nailed down whomever they go with.

I honestly am curious to see if Oprah would take the role.

Are they really eyeing Oprah Winfrey? She might be okay as an actress but she's too associated with her show. I would have a hard time seeing her as Waller.

I'm glad WB are looking at fat actresses though, as I don't want a young and slim Waller in this movie, especially not now that the rest of the cast have been announced.

Oprah's a great actress, though I'd go with Davis. She's tough as nails, no nonsense, I could could totally see her turning on a dime if anyone of the members falls out of line. She can be cold , calculating, and authoritative. She also has the physical presence as well so you could believe she was in the field at one time herself .

Loving the A-List cast announcements...except as much as I adore Oprah Winfrey, I hope they don't cast her as Waller. Oprah is a larger-than-life personality and I'm concerned no matter how great her performance, the audience will still see Oprah.

(I'd also be thrilled if Oprah proved me wrong)

Oprah has been a larger than life personality for a long time, but I've never once had trouble getting into her acting roles. She's extremely talented. Fantastic short list either way.
