Viola Davis' Amanda Waller Posted In This Thread, Then Threw Away The Thread!

Viola Davis is such an awesome get by WB. I hope her role gets expanded to stuff like Cadmus and JLA.

I need dialog porn with Waller vs Lex and Waller vs Batman.

Okay, I am in love with this phrase. We need to make it a thing on Twitter.

Calling Davis a great actress feels like an understatement. I'm happy she had so much dialogue in the trailer.

The seriousness of her acting in that trailer was actually what grounded the entire thing. Davis means business in this film.

The way she turns and says "Exactly" is just so dirty. I love those little nuances.

I'd be more afraid of her than the Joker haha.

Davis nailed it. She is Amanda Waller through and through.

So, that steak Waller is chowing down on; what are we thinking? Porterhouse? Ribeye?

There's a gravitas to her performance in the trailer, like there's no winking at the camera or over the top qualities, no acknowledgement about the type of film she is in, taken out of context it could be a clip from any political drama vying for awards.

Davis was amazing in the trailer. Perfect Amanda Waller.

Yes! That's what I liked about it. She's just a professional doing her job and she's not rattled by it at all. Both the dialogue and her delivery were perfect.

I think she'll be awesome. I get the feeling she's going to be in Justice League.

Viola is amazing and I can't wait to see her performance in the film though I still would have liked to have seen how Oprah would have done in the role.

Oprah would've been interesting, but Viola is PERFECT.

Oprah has the actual world experience of getting people to act against their best interests... But Viola is a great choice too. :sly:

I think the more important question is whether or not the steak came with a side of Mashed Potatoes.

Hell Yeah.

I really liked her in the trailer. She was intense.

That's what kind of grounds this trailer. Someone on YouTube said "This looks like an actual film, not just an action bonanza."

That's why this film is gonna be awesome. There's gonna be a lot more to it than just the action and effects. It's dark, it's bleak, it's sad, it's just so gritty, and depressing. It looks fantastic.

Yes.

Just like Cavill as Superman, I knew Viola would KILL it as Waller. This is one of the best casting decisions in the history of CBMs.

I still want her to have a fatsuit exoskeleton for kicking ass.
