Where did this magnificent piece of art come from and who did it?
Action Comics Annual #11

I like your lead actor/actress choices. Not to fond of the villains for the film, with Zod, Non, and Ursa...If we get a reboot I don't want them in it or anywhere near it. I like the Metallo pick for Pitt, though not my first choice.
I like your Superman, Lois, and Luthor a lot. Who would be your pick for Brainiac?

I like your ideas.Yeah Sage props on that pic that's what I'd like to see the entire Daily Planet cast in full
Oh and DavidTyler I was just elaborating figured to explain things in details since you were curious.
Zod, Ursa and Non are there cause in my reboot idea they'll be in the Krypton segment they won't be the villains. I posted the cast list without elaborating. The kryptonian characters are there to flesh out krypton and set up future appearances after the events that take place there like the zone villains escaping, Kara appearing on earth things like that. I can't think of anybody in mind for Brainiac at the moment cause if I go with any interpretation it'd be the one from the current Action Comics arc.
That would be tricky to cast as you need a strong man that could still pull off the smartest being in the universe convincingly. But I'd do the same thing that happened in that arc in terms of him having his forces invade krypton and abduct Kandor. So even though I wouldn't have him in the first film his presence is still felt. I'd save him for the first sequel and the zone villains for a third flick with Kara also appearing in the third. I think for a first movie they should go the Metallo route
Recently I've gotten into Bermejo, and came across this. I'd really love to see scenes like this.. we need a Lex that actually feels intimidating and like a threat. Someone that can do for Lex what Heath did for the Joker.

Btw, does anyone know what this is from? I ordered Lex Luthor: MOS yesterday, it's not from that is it?
It's from an Action Comics issue two years back.
IIRC, that's from the run during Infinite Crisis. It essentially showed post-Crisis Superman's life through the eyes of Earth-2 Superman and how he'd have done things differently. This page just refers back to a classic post-Crisis story.
I'll agree for the most part. I don't particulary want a movie thats too close to the comics. Though,if a story is good I would'nt mind them borrowing from it.Hello.
I don't think the mass audience wants a Superman movie too close to the comic books. I think they want something like Superman Returns but with more action and less children.
I also think they want Richard out of the picture, and maybe a bit more acting from Routh.
What do you think?
I didn't like the vintage look they gave Metropolis in Returns. I want to see a Modern look.
Decent, Man O Steel.
I like Rachel McAdams as a choice for Lois Lane. She's been on my list for the role a long time now.
these are awsome! i'd love to see these in a movie.
