Warriors Three Cast

The last time Townsend was very publicly replaced at the last minute in a high profile movie it turned out to be a cinema classic. Maybe this is a good sign :p

Haha! Yeah but, Fandral isn't a big role like Aragorn.

oh. so you have read the script. enlighten us. how much screen time will Fandral have?

Hold on, lemme get my best bro Kevin Fiege on the phone.

"About 10 minutes screen time bro".

Aesop Rocks & Kevin Fiege.

Best bros for life.

I thought his hair looked brown to me.

Maybe dude can't swing a real sword, only those sissy fencing kind. He did quit Aragon from LOTR too.

HA HAAAA (Pee Wee laugh)

He didn't turn down Thor and LotR, he got fired from Thor and LotR

It's no great loss for us or Marvel. It is for Townsend though.

In his eyes he went out in a blazing glory. ;)

But, I thought they just decided to go with Viggo for Aragorn because he was older? I don't see that as him being fired for being a *****e or anything, simply just an age thing.

After the LOTR debacle, this makes me think that Townsend is a serious assclown. Maybe the same charm his exit worked on LOTR will happen with Thor.

Yea but we had some kind of idea of his acting ability... this guy we know nothing; nonethless KB has my trust.

I can see him arriving 6 hours late to the screening AND telling the staff to **** off and deal with it, arrogant style.

Oh well, no harm done there.

The guy they got to replace him for the role looks more fitting to be Fandral...afterall Fandrall is supposed to be dashing.... in other words based on looks...he is the best looking and gets the most girls.

Townsend didn't really have that look, attitued yes...but look no.

Well looks like he has done some acting on both the stage (in london/paris) and some movies/tv shows. His last role in The Boxer looks to have been demanding physically at least...So he should be able to throw a pretty good punch..:woot:... Also should be able to hold an accent due to his experience on the stage and shows in england. Plus imo he's easier on the eyes than townsend... lol...

How dissapointing, Townsend was one of the perfect castings the movie had lookswise, and he can act.

I'm confident that anyone they cast in this film is going to be a talented actor. The whole "creative differences" thing is just code for Townsend being a dick on the set.

Depends who you ask. Sean Astin wrote in his book that Townsend had a major attitude toward Jackson. There are also unverified reports that Townsend showed up for the first day of filming coked up.
