I agree-- I want Batman and Superman to be older if there is going to be a JL film; if for no other reason than to show the audience, these are men, these are icons; and this is not another origin film.

this movie is just a bad idea. i say do a batman/superman movie and see if bale and routh will do it and try to get spacey and ledger too but it just isnt worth it without bale and routh

It's not really imitating Bale's batman. We will most likely not see Bruce Wayne at all in the movie, and I really don't think the general public cares about who plays Batman in a JLA movie.

I could go to my school tomorrow and ask everyone one question. Who is Christian Bale? Probably two people would know he's Batman, and the rest wouldn't even begin to know who he is. The same goes for Brandon Routh as Superman. If a Justice League movie is made, people aren't going to refuse to see it or think it's dumb because Bale isn't Batman. They will be brought in by a movie having some of the most iconic characters ever.

Whoever gets the part just needs to do a good job at it. If that happens, I doubt people will still go "this movie sucks because Bale isn't Batman." As for Gosling, we seriously need to see this guy bulked up and with the correct haircut. All of his films look nothing like Batman, and I really think his voice is odd for the part. He just sounds like a big southern kid, and that is not Batman.

I kinda agree. I'm not saying he's hot. So far though WB rumored cast all seem to be kinda young. Ryan Reynold, Jessica Biel, Ryan Gosling , and maybe Tom Welling. Ryan Gosling doesn't look like bruce wayne but he can be Batman. He gets the mask makeup the suit voice lessons, who knows.

That may be even more confusing. Simply get an older actor and puthim in a Batsuit that bares no resemblance to Nolan's Batman. Also, if Gotham appears in the film, make it look different. Following Darren Aranofsky's suggestion of Tokyo doubling as Gotham may be a very interesting idea. The film makers should make this film a little bit animated in terms of visuals. It doesn't need to realness of BB or even SR. I would say it should be realer than the fantasy world of the Spider-Man franchise, but not by much.
