Weird Thoughts.

You've got a point there. Maybe Wolverine is redeemable, but not if they keep this up for many more years to come.

I look at how characters have peaks and troughs in writing and popularity and I truly believe Wolvie could return to greatness, just like Batman did under Schwartz or Daredevil under Miller. I think it just needs the right writer, with the right approach.

Not without losing the things that seem to make him popular these days. I'd love to see him return to his roots as the scrappy underdog who wins by fighting dirty and (here's the key) intelligently

See thats the Wolvie I like too.:)

I say no.

My initial thinking was the the human body isn't semetrical. if cut in half down the middle the heart would only be on one side. That side would live.

But also as mentioned above cutting the brain in half would kill them. We saw in the AOA that Deadpool without a head is dead.

Okay first,Deadpool has been shown to regenerate his heart. You can check his origin in wepon x for that.

Secondly and alternent version of a character is just that, not the same guy. The 616 Deadpool can splatter his head goo no problem.(See Cable and Deadpool #18.)

If you really look at all the evidence I beileve that that my original idea is correct.

Characters with the highest level of healing factor that allows for 100% regeration can be duplicated by simply spliting them down the middle like a worm.:)

p.s.

I also wanted to add that I think I would really help Wolverine to get a beat down in his own series at the hands of Namor in the upcoming arc.

Yup

Heres how good DP's healing factor is now. Incase people wanted to know.

Unless something major has changed, I don't think Wolverine qualifies for that category.
