We're Reforming Wolverine And The X-men: The Official Action Figure Line from Hasbro

Those new figures look pretty good!
I really like Magneto and Cyclops. Both are very accurate to the designs

Only gripe about Cyclops is that his legs are in a spread out position and he won't be able to stand up straight.

Iceman is crouched over but since he comes with an ice sled he can be displayed on, its ok.

So far, my buddy in Hong Kong has been very accurate. Heres hoping we get a Storm!

They looks amazing!!! :D
Well I hope that they includes the girls in the collection, maybe not all of them but the more importants in the show!
About Jean.... I will not going to say anything!
I already saw all the episodes from the first season and I have them too! if someone wants spoilers just ask me
Some of you knows how many figures will get the first line??

^ how did you see all episodes?

Gotta say though these second batch of pictures makes it quite tempting to start collecting again. That Magneto is bada**

Is Cyclops' jacket that gray color?

All the episodes have aired in Latin territories.

Glad we are getting a nice variety of characters in this figures.

I'm probably going to collect this line, provided they look as good in person.

YES thats right I live on Perú I watch all the episodes via jetix, but also i download all the episodes from a web page in spanish!
And I will collect them all only if they produce the femmes characters too! so I could have a completed collection! :D
Hugs to all! ask whatever you want

Apparently they've made a Storm figure, so hopefully we will see some female characters.

At least the main ones.

We did get female characters for X-men Evolution, but not a lot.

Cyclops has a wide stance, to say the least. Is he about to ride a horse?

But, yeah, hopefully some more of the ladies besides Storm get an action figure. I could imagine a rare Psylocke figure making everyone wild at a Comic Con somewhere. I mean, I complain about Colossus being shafted in cartoons, but two of his 80's era teammates, Havok and Psylocke, usually haven't fared any better.

The only good thing I have to say about the new three is Cyclops' snap on opting blast is a pretty sweet accesory.

Does it light up? Because Cyclops action figures where the visor lights up usually got my attention as a kid. I still have the old one that did that from the 90's (along with, like, 3-4 Wolverine figures).

It looks like it's just a snap on optic blast accessory ala the X-men Vs. Street Fighter cyclops.

I doubt they would be quick to release a Jean figure, especially since (1) female character and (2) she hasn't figured prominently in the series...yet.

How about white hair with painted-on eyes and eyebrow... :p

Toybiz's attempts at making Rogue action figures have never been successful... Monster Armor Rogue (Age of Apocalypse costume) with shoddy glued on mop-of-a-hair, Age of Apocalype Famous couples Gambit and Rogue which was just a repaint of Gen X White Queen, Streetfighter Rogue...which was a bit too manga for my taste, a tranny Marvel Legends Rogue...they've all had bad designs all around.

The only one I really liked was Power Slammers Rogue (Joe Mad-designed Shiar costume) but even then her hair blocked her face.

^Brings back memories of my action figure collecting days :(

i never even got that tranny rogue! i have a s*it ton of marvel legends toys. i always hoped they would release a different rogue.... never happened.

these figures are waaaaay too plain for my taste. i want some really awesome marvel legends like figures!

The thing is though Chaotic, these are figures for animated show where the designs are quite different from Marvel Legends. The characters have less detail and are a bit more simplified, kind of like DCAU.

And of course the JLU figures don't have quite the level of detail or articulation of DCU figures, but I still think the JLU figures good all the same.

Awesome!
but i dont want Forge action figure :oldrazz:
waiting for Rogue and Storm and Angel or Archangel

Pretty sure we will get Storm since I think atgscl's contact in China found one.

Angel I'm sure will happen since he's a male character.

haha so we are officially calling that "tranny rogue"? :p

I actually stopped collecting action figures close to (or right when) the first Marvel Legends figures came out (Magneto, Toad, et al). Can't really say I regret that decision though...the collection would have just sat in a box somewhere anyways...

shes freaky

Rogue in anime Wolverine & X-men is more pretty n beautiful.

I got the follow-up Rogue in the Red & Blue suit and Cyclops glasses. As I recall, there was a problem with her torso. Beautiful sculpt though.

I bought the wolverine figure that was on Ebay a few weeks ago and I just got it today. I was very pleasanlty suprised with the whole figure. Here is a little review.

Wolverine:

Packaging-Very nice. Its catchy and there are no twist ties or rubber bands holding in the figure.

Size: At first, I was dissapointed that these figures were going to be in the 4" scale but now I am glad becasue they have just as much articulation as they would if they were in the 6" range. Wolverine stands exactly at 3 3/4" (3.75"). I think that he is on the shorter side of the 4" range becasue in actuality, he should be the shortest among the others. Hopefully the other X-men will be appropriately taller.

Sculpt-Good, not great, just good sculpt. The head could be a tad bigger and Wolvy's pecs come down too low. He should also have sculpted abs. I think those 3 things would have made this figure near perfect sculpt wise. Since we are likely to get many more Wolverines down the line, I am not holding the fact that he has no attached claws against him. Anyway, this is a great claw-less Wolverine.

Articulation- I thought he would have like 8 POA but suprisingly, Wolvy boasts a whopping 19 POA! I know its about on par with the Marvel Universe 4" figures. Hasbro did a very very nice job of not breaking up the sculpt too much whole adding articulation. The POA are as follows: 1 head, 2 right shoulder, 2 left shoulder, 1 right wrist, 1 left wrist, 2 abs (swivel and crunch), 2 top of right leg, 2 top of left leg, 1 right knee, 1 left knee, 2 right foot, 2 left foot. All the joints function well and only the feet are hindered by the boots a bit. I was dissapointed to see that he can not look up or down though. He just has a swivel neck.

Paint-Mine has some paint splatters of blue on his arm and some stripes on his costume aren't the neatest but I am sure the paint quality will vary with every figure.

Accessories-Wolvy comes with those goofy looking 'snap on' claws which technically aren't even snap on. You have to put hte handles inot his hands and it is suppposted to look like he has his claws out. This figure looks really stupid while holding the claws but who cares, this is the difinitive claw-less Wolverine. We will get many more Wolvy figures in this line and hopefully some will have sculpted on claws.

Value- The MSRP is $7.99 for these, the same as Marvel Universe figures. I feel that this is a fair price for these animated figures. I know some people were comparing the price of these to JLU figures who are $5 each but these are much better. These have much more articulation and most come with accessories. Also, some like Colossus, Beast, and Avalanche consist of more plastic than almost all JLU figures. And if you are still looking for another reason, these have sculpted details unlike JLU who just have painted on details most of the time. The $8 price point is just fine. Hopefully we will see some 2 packs later on that we be a bit cheaper than buying 2 single figures.

Excellent work as usual atgscl. Great pictures.

thanks! and I paid $23 shipped.

I though it wasn't that bad becasue I only buy things online anyway so when they hit mass market in March, I would probably end up paying around $15-20 for it.
