your just going off of what u saw but maybe theres more to it than meets the eye
If Doc Ock came back then what would he do? Didn't he learn a lesson in part 2 that blowing up people is bad? And he doesn't want to be a monster? Then how can he be a villain, much else lead a sinister six?
The good possible choice for leading the Sinister 6 is Goblin, because he's rich like Luthor, but he's going to die in 3 so I guess that's it for the idea...

first off Doc Ock wasn't all there if u know what i mean i mean the tentacles would take over his thoughts at times. so maybe the water finally shorted out any control he can have over them and he can come back more evil and have villains like sandman (i only chose him since i came up with the Sandman saving Doc Ock idea) to remind him what Peter Parker/Spiderman has done. Doc Ock is now an outcast thanks to Spidey. He lost his wife cuz of Spiderman. so why not bring him back for revenge and creating the sinister 6???

the problem in the first place was that the chip broke , thats how the tentacles controlled his brain, how could they break more?

Two things:
1) That would be a great idea... him coming back at the end, busting various villains out of jail (Brock, I wish...), and saying, "I'm gettin' all of us together, to finally kill Spider-Man." That would be cool, but...
2) It would be horribly expensive to create a CG team of the Sinister Six.

I don't think budgets the issue after the incredlbe amount these movies have grossed and it will only increase with the third movie, also think about the hype the sinister 6 would cause, it would be nuts, breaking even with the budget is not sony's issue

True, true.
But every movie, no matter how big, has to take its budget into consideration.

oh ye no doubt, but I think by now sony are fairly comfortable with the money they are placing into these movies, as each movie has recieved a bigger budget

Well, sure! But I hope Sony realizes after 3, maybe 4, it is most likely time to stop.

Leave the franchise as it is... GREATNESS.

hopefully sony are wiser than fox and than X3 money plan

X3 could have been a great movie... if it wasn't rushed, and if Fox didn't have complete control over it, creative-wise.

If that wasn't the case, X3 could be filming right now, and Singer could be at the helm.

if only singer did stay on, instead we got a half hearted action movie, oh well, theres always 'wolverine'

From what I've heard, that movie will pwn.

Thank God.

There was a script review online a while ago that said it was amazing.

oh ye, i read the first few scenes of the script, agent X is in the movie, he's some arrogant soldier, who's not interested in wolverine or the weapon x program. it was quite a good script, pretty run by numbers stuff though with wolverine and his lover, sabertooth's in it which is good, cus the x-men movies didn't even touch on their relationship

It is moving forward... they are looking for a director.

my choices would be either alex proyas or robert rodriguez

I'm singing someone's praises...

Just joking.

Someone was lined up. Can't remember who.

i wouldn't like singer for wolverine, I am hoping for a more grittier interpretation for wolverine, we need a fresh director who is known for his more intense and violent movies, I wana see wolverine and sabertooth going at it like beasts, ripping the crap out of eachother, not acrobatic choreography

Brett Ratner was rumored for a while...

No one else has been mentioned, really.

IMDB has Ken Watanabe, Brian Cox, and Vinnie Jones listed as actors in the movie.

That would be a great cast.

But, it is the IMDB...

I don't want to see vinnie jones anywhere near this movie...are they saying with an actor like ken watanabe that they are going the samurai wolverine route?

I still think they should have gone with Dougray Scott for wolverine, Hugh Jackman is ok, but he's not brutish enough. He looks more like a businessman with a badhaircut than a moody brutal ass mutant.

After credit scene? Dont get me started. One word: X3

I don't think the X3 after credit scene ditracted much from the movie...the movie did though

i had never heard of Dougray Scott so i just googled him and checked out some pics....not trying to bait you or start trouble, but do you really feel he is more brutish and less businessman like than jackman....like i said, not baiting you, i just feel that that guy is even more businessmanlike, personal opinion though, and probably not the right place for this discussion.....
