The Dark Knight What About Other Villians?

So much time is being spent discussing the Joker and from what I've read he will only be one of several major villains this movie. No one even knows for sure how much screen time this Joker will have other than the fact that he will have less than the 89 Joker. Is anything known about the other villians in this movie?

There is a rumor that the Penguin will be an illegal arms dealer, and that he might be in league with Mr. Earle (from Begins) and Roman Sionis (the Black Mask). I've heard these rumors more than once, however, that's all they are, rumors.

Black Mask and The Penguin have been rumored. Harleen Quinzel was also brought up. The Penguin is the only one that really seems to have a shot at actually appearing, though.

Another question that I have been wondering is that if there is another villain seen or mentioned, how do you think they will be incorporated? I love how Nolan mentioned the Joker at the end.. actually gave me shivers down my spine and I hope they can do something along those lines for The Dark Knight.

I hope they're are more villians that we don't know about it. If this is only a trilogy and Two Face is the villain in the third movie that leaves a lot of main characters out of the picture.

I think alot of villains may be included in cameo roles, especially using the Gang War stroyline. Also, depending on whether or not Katie Holmes is returning, then they will probably need to include a female character, either Catwoman or Harley Quinn?

Penquin would be extremely nice , particularly if they stuck with the arms dealer story
But i'd also want to see Scarecrow returning again. And mebbe toss in a "proper Nolanfied Mr Freeze"

I'm pretty damn sure we're gonna be seeing Black Mask. The movie is about duality, and Sionis is gonna be used as a mirror to Bruce Wayne - a young tycoon from a priveliged family living in the public eye. Only, he's mafia where Bruce is fighting that kinda thing. I'd bet money we'll see a mob-connected Sionis, but we won't be seeing the Black Mask.

I disagree. We will see the Black Mask. It might not be much, but we'll see it.

And The Penguin is could also be considered a mirror, being that he masquerades as upper class, opulent and cultured, like Billionare Bruce Wayne, but in reality he is just a loathesome criminal.

I enjoy the idea of Black Mask and The Penguin teaming up to destroy Bruce and/or his fortune and business. Two Anti-Bruces alliancing to take what is his.

Aside from Penguin, I want the Riddler. Croc would be cool, and Freeze would be outstanding if done right. Still, I think the Riddler would be most fun to see in a semi-realistic movie.

they should put harley quinn. in the movie she should start off being the replacement physcologist for dr. crane (the scarecrow) at arkham and police dept. then she meets the joker as a prisoner in arkham after being caught by batman. she doesnt think the joker is an insane lunatic killer, but rather a very misunderstood person, and the joker notices this and takes advantage of this. so he convinces her to secretly free him from arkham every time he gets caught, at first she's reluctant but then she easily gives in and starts falling in love. the joker is also aware that harvey dent is shcizophrenic and is also one of harley's private practice patients at the police dept and insists that she do reverse physcology on dent and inform him what happens on all the sessions. before the end of the movie, the joker asks harley on dent's whereabouts, she tells him, frees him from arkham one last time because an authority catches her, arrests her, she gets mad, and in order to escape she kills a few people. she then realizes why the joker likes killing so much and decides that she wants to be like him. she knows the joker is going after dent, and the cops and batman will be after joker. she then decides to find the joker in order to rescue him before he gets found and arrested..... then at the very last scene of the movie, harley finds the joker very beaten (by batman of course), hiding behind the building where the incident happened, in harleyquinn make-up and costume all done, and takes him safely away, thus the joker waking up and realizing that this woman is his lover, and the final shot being him making an evil grin and then laughing.


by the way reese witherspoon should play harley quinn.

I honestly don't care if the scarecrow appears in the "Dark Knight". I mean, we have The Joker, Harvey Dent, The Penguin and Black Mask. I say we give them a chance to shine.

I want to see a mobster - Rupert Thorne, Sal Maroni - I don't care, he just needs to be a classic Batman normal mobster. He should be played by Paul Sorvino. He should be filling in the void of Gotham City's underbelly left by the now crazy Falcone. I would like to see Tony Zucco and Edward Skeevers to be apart of his crime organization.

I want Black Mask to be the new "Freakish" Mobster - he MUST be Black Mask and not just a mob connected Roman Sionis, I want to see the Freak v. "Classic, Normal" Organized Crime.

I would like to see the Penguin be an opurtunistic arms dealer - perhaps he starts out as Oswald Cobblepot, dealer for Maroni/Thorne's Criminal Empire- but starts moving to the "Freak" side of crime - becoming the Penguin. Or maybe not - as long as he is not spitting up bile and living in the sewers I will be okay.

I want to see Harleen Quinzelle - intern at Arkham Asylum. I want her to be young, dedicated, ambitious psycologist-to-be who really tries to connect with her patient. Of course it is this that will lead to her down fall.

I want to see Selina Kyle introduced perhaps at the end of the movie. She should be a socialite who mysteriously worked her way up from humble beginnings. Her true place to shine should be BB3.

I want to see Two Face be created, at the very end of the movie.
