I'm not gonna say I don't like something about it without seeing the movie, but I will say I don't like that it's the last Nolan Bat-film, and we're likely in for a world of **** after this....

The fact that Batman has been retired for those long 8 years. Apparently Bruce has a cane at the beginning due to the fall at the end of TDK. The fall wasn't even that high, hell I thought Two-Face could of lived.

Of course, I'm sad it's the last Nolan film, I wanted to see what he would of done with some villains. I guess it's better to end it at its peak instead of "raping" it.

To be honest (and I'll probably get hated on for this) but I'm actually kind of dissapointed Miranda Tate is Bruce's new love interest (especially if she ends up NOT being Talia). I mean, with Rachel out of the picture we get Selina Kyle/Catwoman, one of Batman's most iconic lovers/villains/allies, and she's not the new love interest in the film but rather a no name is...again. I seriously hope the Bat and the Cat convey some kind of complicated/complex relationship on screen as they do in the comics, otherwise Selina kind of loses a lot of her significance in relation to Batman, IMO.

I think the chances of Tate NOT being Talia is 0.00000001% so I think that might soften the blow for you.

Some thoughts:

1. Bane did work with Ra's in the comics (think it was Bane of the Demon) so it wouldn't be off the mark.

2. Earthquake machine was ultimately used in the Cataclysm storyline.

3. I think Catwoman not having a cowl is supposed to mix the newer Darwyn Cooke costume along with the older 60s tv show one.

4. JGL taking over for Batman. Probably not a good idea, but if he acts as a placeholder for JPV, then I can see what they are going for.

All in all it looks like they are taking all the major 90s comic stories and mashing them together for this movie.

I don't really have any worries I mean after all this is just another of many interpretations of Batman I don't see why everyone is taking everything seen in movies at face value.

Let's not forget the one true Batman is from the comics, well if you ignore that whole New 52 crap.

Major problems: I don't like...

1. That it's the last one

2. The ending. I'm freaking over it. I hope he ends it in a good way, not something too disappointing.

Minor problems: I don't like...

1. Selina's costume. I mean, it's awesome but the goggles, ears and heels? No. Anyway, it's not a big problem, I can handle that.

2. That some parts look a bit cheesy, like the Gordon's dialogue in the hospital. "Now this...evil rises." TDK had 1 or 2 cheesy parts but it was a good movie so this isn't a big deal.

The only thing I hope gets handled well in the movie is the retirement angle in the beginning. I have always been against the idea that he quit after TDK and I hope if that's indeed the case, they'll execute it in a satisfactory manner.

Regardless of when he retired, this theme is one of my main thumbs up for Nolan. We get to see the positive outcome of the Dent cover-up. But we also get an older and little bit slower Batman up against a younger hungrier rival. He starts out off the wrong foot from the get go. The exact wrong time to be facing somebody like this. It's a last hurrah for him because he's not getting any younger, which sets up the peaceful retirement angle if he lives. It's quite magical as well, like the policeman telling the guy next to him he's in for a show tonight, as it's probably the first time Batman has been seen for a long time. Batman would've become even more of a myth, especially to the younger generation.

I have problems with those too.

-"The Bat" does look mediocre. If only it were sleeker, thinner and shaped more like a jet yet still retained the Tumbler design. Also the name, while clever, just doesn't do it for me.

-I particularly don't like the ears, which look weirdly shaped, the goggles, which are too bulky, and the heels, which are out of place and look awkward. Also, her hair let out is weird (looks good on Selina but not Catwoman).

-Yeah, like TDK, some parts might be cheesy. Could rework it though, by removing the "oh, boy" and changing the delivery.

Does the fact I've yet to see a really, truly good poster yet count? That's my major qualm at this point. All the posters have been rather generic an uninspired. Nothing grabs you like the ones for Begins or TDK.

I'm surprised some people don't like this one, considering its ripped straight from one of my favourite moments in the comics, and it's implications kinda send a chill up my spine because the scene that follows is probably the first time we see batman in the film.

As for things I don't like about this film so far, I find it hard to say (and believe me i tried) but i think im just way too caught up in the hype to find any real faults worth a mention. I guess i didn't like the whole batman retirement angle and funnily enough the prologue was a little too hyped for me and i felt a little disappointed by that but I've grown to love it, but yeah I can only say the only thing i really truly HATE about this film is the main poster. Probably because the rise posters and the banners look so much better, yet everywhere from the main site to imdb that ugly shopped poster is shown to be the films main one sheet, and it's so out of line with the visual tone of everything we've seen in this film, it really bothers me.

But as for the film itself, I can't think of anything, everything that worried me (score,action, banes size, voice, hathaways performance, Batman's voice, lack of humour and "fun") seems to disappear every trailer or bit of footage i see. Guess my fanboy goggles are stuck on for a while.
