The Dark Knight Rises What do you not like about the movie?

Don't like Catwoman's costume at all. It's boring and bland, looks like a wetsuit with an ugly pair of goggles to act as a domino mask. As much as I like Nolan, he couldn't pick out a good comic-esque costume to save his life. My only complaint.

But this movie is the best Batman has ever looked in a movie so apparently he can

So far the only thing I don't like is that I haven't seen the movie yet. On the things I can judge before having seen the movie, I'm fine with everything.

The course and duration of Bruce's career as Batman isn't an issue for me because it fits the story Nolan wants to tell. There's a lot more that can be done on film, and it will after this. Right now, we're getting one f***ing amazing Batman run in theaters and I don't give a s*** what's left out.

Selina's costume is the other major point of contention. I love it. It looks sexy as hell. I'm glad there's no stripper cleavage. In all the shots of her with Batman, she looks like she just belongs right there beside him. I wanted something like the current comics or the Arkham games, but I love what we got. I've rediscovered my love of the Julie Newmar catsuit. Guess what? Like with all the stories that can be told, and characters and production designs we didn't get with this run of movies, we'll get a new Catwoman again. And I can't wait.

In the meantime, I'm going to sit back and enjoy what's being presented. Just because I didn't want some things, doesn't mean what I got instead isn't quality.

That's like placing a turtle in a race against slugs and saying that means the turtle can go the speed of light in comparison.

Tanman, I wasn't the one who called him skinny, though I do know he is far from built. Sure he's more built than your average guy in the mall, but you stack that Bane with other guys in a gym (weight lifting gym), he looks extremely underwhelming. I've got colleagues with much better and built physique than Hardy.

Weight lifters get so large, they'd have no agility in a fight. Their mobility is limited. Not to mention the fire their thighs would start if they tried to run.

Worst analogy. Ever.

Pretty much everything looks great so far, however Nolan needs to learn to stay away from cliches.....Selina's "Battan down the hatches" being one example.

I think Catwoman would look a lot better with a cowl and her hair not hanging loose.

The only ries screwed up imo are the posters. The teaser was great. Brilliant. We haven't seen it before. It set the tone. The creative way to use the bat symbol. The broken cowel was awesome as well. But all the others.......good lord.

I agree. Such a shame too because the movie's looking to be the best fo the three. WOuld be nice if ti had th ebest posters too. I liek the 'RISE' character posters a lot but the rest are pretty god awful. The theatrical firey one's grown on me though.

That's only an example of their bully/victim relationship, and of course it could be very different from the trailers, but it seems pretty clear what is going on, and if that snippet, taken out of context, misrepresents their relationship then why would it be there? And just Batman asking Bane his motives when he poses no threat to Bane, is a little too close to pleading, or asking for a favor. You know what I mean? It is perfectly acceptable for Batman to lose a fight and be captured, but you'd think he'd be more defiant and contemptuous, like Indiana Jones or James Bond, for example, who get beat up and captured all the time, but don't change their attitudes towards their enemies because of it.

In the comics batman goes into this slump where he doesn't believe in himself anymore and kind of gives in to banes strength and intelligence. Nolan said he wants batman to be challenged physically and mentally so this scene would probably be related to the comic book character rather than James bond or Indiana jones

I disagree. The long hair is sexy.

Oh most definitely. The cowl version's great too. But I'm perfectly fine with what they came up with for TDKR. It's more about function than fashion with the costume anyway.

To me, the hair seems like an obvious vulnerability, something for an enemy to grab during a fight.

I disagree. The long hair is sexy.

Yeah, she's a vigilante thief being chased by police, mobsters, and whoever else but she's only concerned with looking sexy and fashionable? Women:o

Nolan is extremely hit or miss with his characters aesthetic. I'm still not a fan of Catwoman's look, the TDK-Batsuit(and while it looks better than TDK, I'm still not a fan) or Bane. Gotham looks to be better than what it was in TDK, but its still not ideal.

I don't like the amount of money I'm going to spend on energy drinks and theater concessions. Seeing it 3 times in less than 24 hours is going to be rough.

I personally hate the idea of a doomsday device.

And forgive me for saying this, but I'm not a fan of the long run time. But I haven't seen the film so it may go by very quickly.

Also......I want a black tumbler again!

Hey, gives me something to look at when she's not burglar-ing it up.

I love Catwoman's costume however I hate the fact that there is no whip. It's not unrealistic to use a bullwhip for some reason at some point in life, so I don't accept the "it's unrealistic" or such nonsense.

After thinking about it, I love the irony of Rachel saying she would be with Bruce when Gotham no longer needed Batman... and right after she dies, Bruce stops being Batman.
