What games do you want during the next generation?

Well there is DCUO. The flying mechanics in that game are actually pretty decent

True. I'm not that much into MMORPG's though. I loved X-men Legends 1 & 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2 but that's about as far as I go.

After a hopeful release of a good Superman game, I want a good Iron Man game
I would love to get a superhero game in an open world environment where the hero could actually fly. Superman would be the obvious choice. Having played other open world/sandbox superhero games like Amazing Spider-Man and Batman Arkham City and even Infamous 1 and 2, I am still waiting for a quality flying open world game.
Superman is one of the main playable characters in Lego Batman 2, that game is open world with solid flight mechanics, and there are other characters to control flying
The new LEGO Marvel game will possibly have a city to freely roam as well

I desperately need some kind of "3d Fighting Game maker" thing. I heard something like that exists in Ps1 and ps2. But it doesn't sound like I can make a 3D sequel to TMNT tournament fighters (as in "poligons" not as in "special glasses to see") in that so it will obviously not be enough.

Why not put the Kinect to a use I care about and let me capture my own movements to add to the game? Why not let me upload models from a usb drive into the game?

I'd love for there to be an RPG maker again.

After seeing that poster. I want a Godzilla game

After seeing Pacific Rim, I'd love a mech vs monsters game. Can't think of a recent one worth anything. But I'd love it to have that aspect of mechs being commercialized like mentioned at the beginning of PR. There's so much potential there.

It's a shame comic con haven't announced any new superhero games yet :(

Dead Space 4
Doom 4
Silent Hill (Please, a successful one this time)
Resident Evil (See above)

I just started playing Far Cry 3, it's a fantastic game, but all I can think of is how awesome Far Cry 4 will be on the next gen.

I want a sequel to Ninja Theory's Devil May Cry reboot
I still prefer the older version, and DMC4 is honestly still my favorite. I like DMC3 more than the reboot, but we take what we get, right?
The new game is still lots of fun, and I want more in spite of the haters objection, more of the story, more of the character progression, more of everything

Yeah, I enjoyed it, too. It wasn't on the level of the older games, but it was solid enough, got a decent challenge out of the higher difficulties. I found the world they presented to be far more interesting than anything pre-boot (and I say this as a huge, huge fan of pre-boot games, but their story was always kind of horrible and nonsensical). It was a very solid first entry into a series, I thought. But it underperformed a good deal from expectations, I think, so most likely it'll join the Capcom Death List Franchises and never be seen again.

It wasn't on the level of DMC3 but I thought it was comparable to the others if not better. I hope it gets a sequel as well.

Oh god no, the combat wasn't nearly as smooth and as in depth as 1, 3 & 4 (I don't remember 2 very much). I mean, it was solid, but no need to get carried away or anything.

2 was awful in every possible way. The level design, storytelling and characterization was better in DmC than in 1 and 3. I thought the combat was comparable to 4 and definetly better than 1. IDA about DmC not having deep combat. The thing had so many options, combos and was about as deep as any of its predecssors. It was easier to pull moves off, but there was definetly depth and IMO ran smoother as things chained into the other effortlessly.

Having played all 5 games one after the other, 1 isn't the masterpiece its been built up to be over the years. Really only 3 stands out as a great game. It was the total package. The others had major issues which keep them from standing out

I mean, just nah...

I will give you the story and characterization. That's easy, but the rest? Just...nah. I'm not even bashing DmC, I enjoyed it, but this...this is just...nah.

Okay.

I would love to see an updated and expanded version of an oldie: Shadow of Rome

I agree with all of this

A new Red Dead game. Set in the mid-late 1800's with a "Man with no Name" type of protagonist.

Rockstar has already hinted at an announcement, RDR is in my top 3 favorite games ever so, awanit :woot:

Viewtiful Joe should make a return.

Visually, The Wonderful 101 is pretty close. I've love to see a return, but I'd be skeptic with the original creators gone. The DS game wasn't done by them and....it wasn't bad, but not great either.

Yeah, I've heard some people look at The Wonderful 101 as a spiritual successor to Viewtiful Joe. I had no idea the original creators were gone, though. No wonder they stopped making them. Never played the DS game.
