lol

I dont mind the Rock as Shazam at all! Thats what it seems like hes hinting at with "the word". I really wanted to see him as Martian Manhunter though

Yeah, most of MCU's black heroes are usually the sidekicks. Even Nick Fury is more a supporting role. Despite the fact that Nick Fury has carried his own comic book and has Sam L Jackson playing him, I doubt we'll see a Nick Fury solo film. And that Black Panther film isn't gonna happen anytime soon. If The Rock is playing Shazam, DC/WB has an opportunity to do something that Marvel hasn't.
I still want a movie about a young Nick Fury based on the earliest Steranko Nick Fury stuff in the comics.

I can see the Shazam look in The Rock, and I didn't know Shazam could match Superman. :wow:

You think it will be a kid or a teenager?

I think Jaden working away from his parents might show he's a competent actor. I remember him being good in The Day the Earth Stood Still remake, and while his character was annoying in The Karate Kid, he played the role as well as it could have been played. Maybe his parents total involvement disparage his actual efforts?

Regarding the age of Billy, I see them casting young for future sequels. If they cast too old, the actor may be an early bloomer in terms of aging where it would look odd for him to transform.

TBH no one came out looking good in After Earth

and Jaden is my pick for Static

His parents need to stop trying to make him into a star and focus on giving him a normal upbringing and childhood. He can always be a star later. I mean, the kids is kind of nuts.

Why not have Dwayne play Billy as well? Give him a colored hat, some kids' clothes, a lollipop and ta-da, you have the perfect Billy Batson.

Again, once Jaden isn't experiencing nepotism in movies he's shown good performances.
Also, I honestly find his twitter posts to be humorous; not that they're actually funny, but I don't think he takes anything he says on it seriously. Kind of like his father in his Fresh Prince days.

And hell no to Rock playing kid Rock.

Zing.

A good thing when some of you were his age, you didn't have twitter to share all the knowledge you thought was intellectual at the time :hehe:

Jaden Smith seems egotistical, I'm not even a fan of his acting either... Keep him away from the Dcu
