Okay, the fact that it spun a web strong enough to catch a BIRD flying in mid-air is crazy in the first place...not to mention that it wants to feast on it.

It appears that as the Earth has been warming and summers have been getting longer, the 8-legged hunters have been steadily growing larger and more numerous. And its likely that other creepy-crawly species around the world could be growing larger too.
Dear God..................*shudders*
I am totally terrified of spiders...but they kind of fascinate me at the same time! I don't know why I have an irrational fear of them (there was this one incident when I was like 2.....) but I blame the scuttling. I hate the scuttling!!!
