What SAVED BY THE BELL taught me!

I remember Slater acknowledging his ethnicity in exactly one episode. I think it was the one his dad was in.

You mean regular SBTB and not the college years?

No way. Had to be College years. I remember when the chick he was flirting with/being tutored by commented on how he was latino like her and he not only denied it but seemed offended by the comment.

Maybe I'm confusing it with something else, but I still recall at least one instance where his race was brought up.

As I recall, he did confront his father about it at the end of the episode.

Yes, one of the places his father was stationed. Lets not forget, he is an army brat. He moved around a lot. Bayside was the first school where he felt like he belonged. (though it took a while).

Trust me on this. I remeber the episode like it was yesterday (probably cause it was).

I agree with Teddy! Slater's hispanic heritage wasn't brought up till the college years. What Abaddon is probably thinking about is the Malibu Beach Resort episode where Mr. Corossi leaves his daughter (the oh so hot Leah Remini) in charge and the cooks go on strike. The cooks were Mexican or something and Slater starts talking to them in spanish.

I learned that, when healthy enough, Casey Kasam will do just about anything for the sake of doing it. ...It's no wonder that Ryan Seacrest was his heir apparant.

elizabeth berkley (jesse spano) is in the new issue of People but I haven't had a chance to read it at work yet

If she doesn't talk about SBTB then I ain't interested! :o

Looking at wiki the other day, the show had some of the most ridiculous continuity errors.

No other show has worse continuity than SBTB. Most of that is a result of merging Good Morning, Miss Bliss and SBTB. They should have just left it as it originally was...two different versions of the same show.

I love SBTB, but for some reason I've always been too cheap to buy the box sets at BestBuy (or wherever else I see them)...Maybe I just feel like they should be administered to people for FREE.

i have recently been dvr'ing SBTB and it's so much fun to watch random old episodes. especially cuz they play at such random times of the day.

The Bell also taught me it's cool to date cute homeless girls. After all, they know Santa.
