Don't say who please I want to be surprised :yay:
The Laundry Sheriff has a quick cameo so she could team up with Thanos in TA3 & 4. Civil War post-credit scene possibility.

With the cast WB has lined up for Suicide Squad, I don't think S6 has a prayer of a chance of being marketed and sold to the masses, even with Spidey on the roster.

Don't be so naive, there is no such thing as starpower anymore. Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp, Robert Downey Jr., Will Smith, all have some failed movies outside of known franchises. Just having big names doesn't guarantee anything for the movie. General auiduence couldn't care less who is underneath the mask honestly.

Yeah well I didn't even know Joker and Quinn would be involved. As good as the Spidey villains are, they will not draw as well as those two. Seems like they are using an ensemble film to reboot some DC villains in the new DCCU, which sounds brilliant to me. I just think S6 is in a major uphill battle against this, because SS will be the measuring stick, and I don't think Sony has the firepower to compete with that currently.

I do think Sony would have some gravitas by including actual anti-heroes on the roster that the public is familiar with. If they had Kingpin in the Lex Luthor role, rework guys like Punisher and DD into the roster (if they had the rights), characters the public is already familiar with, they would have something here. Spidey is not an anti-hero, and making his villains sympathetic, Raimi style will not work either. Venom is the guy I would look at, I don't think he is a franchise starter by himself.

The biggest problem with Sinister Six is Sony wants to make them different than they are. All they are is a group of villains banded together to defeat Spider-Man. They are to Spidey what the Legion of Doom is to the Justice League or the Rouges to Flash.

AoA reshoots in January. Inserting a cameo from a certain wallcrawler? ;)

I'm calling it now.

In the film, Fury will approach Cap with dossiers; his "Plan B", should the current Avengers be unable to fulfill their duties.

His Plan B:

The New Avengers........ including Captain Marvel and Spider-Man.

.

Nah....Spidey approach Fury with the offer to join the New Avengers and do his part to help, but Fury simply tells Spidey, "I'm sorry son, but you appear to have ties with Sony...we simply can't have that.

Sony wants anti heroes for the audience to root for. That is not the Sinister Six.

I've just lost whatever hope I had remaining for this film....Somebody needs to fire Sony, for not firing Avi Arad. A disaster waiting to happen.

Because it's not like Harry Osbourne's arc from the comics was "a tale of redemption".... :whatever:

Wait, did I just say Avi was right about something!?! :wow:

2 things:

1. That happened in Raimi's series. Harry got redemption.

2. When you look at TASM2 and from the GA's point of view, giving redemption to the guy who killed Gwen is like giving redemption to the Joker after he killed Rachael.

I've always viewed Harry's arc from the comics as a tragedy. He was dragged down by his father's legacy. He saves Peter because he's his best friend, not as an act of atonement.

I hated Gyllenhaal as Rachel, was glad he ended her. Made me love Ledger even more.

Why do I get the impression the Sony hackers who are intent on bringing down Sony Entertainment are either Marvel in disguise, Disney in disguise or a Spider-Man fan in disguise.

Lol Levi no one even gave a damn about Rachel.
