At this point, things look bleak. I think X-Men Apocalypse, Cap 3, and BvS leaves little to no room for TAS3 or S6. Unless they want an August release date, which can work for a lower level spinoff, but not a Spidey movie. I do think Sony will have some form of Spidey out by summer 2017. I don't think they are throwing in the towel just yet.

I think a Spider-Man movie makes 650-700m on the strength of his name alone. Are Sony content with those numbers? Probably not. How are Sony going to add 200m to that total? That is how Sony need to approach things.

Yea what was I thinking? Let's have Spidey cameo in Avengers instead of having a 12 hour Spidey film and having him, a street level hero, team up with other street level heroes.

I make no sense at times.

I would much rather see 3 seasons of weekly Game of Thrones/Hannibal production levels and sophisticated level of writing with Spider-Man TV than a movie with a 200m budget that I have to wait 4 years for.

Major production value for sets and effects and A list TV directors and writers. I'm talking GoT/Hannibal quality. I would have that any day over a 200m movie that comes out in 2018.

Spidey is part heavily involved in all of Disney/Marvel marketing outside of the movies. Regularly makes the comic top 10 and is present in Disney stores. Compare that with say, the X-Men.

a super hero that makes 700 mil... sony would be abit stupid to treat this like it only made 400 mil and that they don't own one of marvels biggest characters
