To be fair, DC doesn't hype their fans the way Marvel does. Marvel is making a big deal in what is most likely to be a simple announcement of their upcoming film slate and are actively engaging their fans to be hyped. Warner Bros. on the other hand announces their slate quietly in an investor meeting.

Can't blame the Marvel fans to be more excited than the DC ones. And I'm a guy that favors DC.

It's reflected in the tones of the movies as well. Marvel is colourful, playful and embraces its comic roots where as DC is dark, realistic and gritty.
