Superman Returns What Singer needs to do for the sequel to make it a sucess.

Singer just needs to continue what he started, but he has to be more original in the sequel. That means no John Williams music, no previously used lines, no luthor, and no Zod. He has to introduce a new villain: Darkseid, Braniac, Mongul, Bizarro, Metallo. Any of those would be a great choice. The best parts of SR were the original moments, In many ways I was happy Clark was given a son, because it's different from the previous four movies.

I thikn superman should find a way to introduce Bizarro and Brainiac while keeping Lex. I have an idea for a good plot. The purpose of my plot is to:
1) Introduce Brainiac
2) Introduce Bizarro
3) Get rid of Richard
4) And get rid of the kid

Points:
-Lex Luther has one remaining krystal (unknown to lex luther the krystal holds the computer brain of Brainiac)
-Brainiac explains that he is an advanced alien techno life-form and that he is responsible for destroying Superman's World, and that he can help lex luther destroy superman, but lex has to help him
-Luther helps build Brainiac a body, and Brainiac will help Luther kill superman
-Brainiac and Lex Luthor enter into a mutual agreement that results in the formation of Lex Corp (Lex's company that specializes in weapons/defense technology)
-Lex becomes a public businessman figure. His pitch is that America doesn't need superman and can defend itself...and that Lex Corp is the future of American defense technology. Lex manipulates the public into thinking that superman is to powerful to be trusted and that nothing is to stop him from destroying Earth. Lex proclaims that America must learn to protect itself (the american public is oblivious to his plot from SR..so they don't know he is a villain)
-As the storyline progresses we see that Richard is becoming more and more jealous of the relationship between louis and superman
-Richard wants to get rid of superman (believes the world doesn't need superman and is very envious)
-He goes to Lex because he knows lex hates superman too (is reluctant to go at first, until somehow he finds out that Jason is superman's son...he is almost psychotic with rage and envy)
-Richard tells Lex Luther everything about louis, superman and the kid...Brainiac and Lex come up with a plan to use Richard's psychotic rage to their advantage.
-Lex luther hires some goons to stage a crime just so they can get a piece of superman's DNA
-Brainiac and Lex plan to use the DNA and fuse it with Richard's and a serum that will allow them to clone superman's powers and give them to Richard.
-The experiment almost kills Richard, but he survives...he has all of Superman's powers, but he is deformed and psychotic...when lex observes the finished product he says "OMG, it went all wrong..he's some kind of Bizarro Superman"..and that's when Richard gives himself the new identity Bizarro.
-Lex and Brainiac attempt to manipulate Bizarro, but Bizarro only is concerned with killing superman and his kid, falling in love with louis and being the new superhero of metropolis.
-Bizzaro kidnaps the kid to attract superman and accidentally kills him....which leads to an all out brawl between superman and bizarro.

haven't really thought of an ending...but i think it has potential.

Richard can be turned into Metallo and kill the kid when he finds out it's superman's. the original intention could be to make a techno-organic body for Brainiac..so, they tell Richard they can make him more powerful to defeat superman, but once they fuse his body with the advanced alien techno organic parts they intend to transfer brainiac's brain to the body. Once richard's body is transformed, they attempt to transfer brainiac's brain to the body, but it goes wrong...brainiac's brain doesn't transfer, but portions of brainiac's mental traits fuse with Richard's own mind resulting in insanity. because he nows possesses pieces of Brainiac's mental traits...he knows that brainiac and lex were going to betray him....he then escapes under the new identity metallo. metallo only has one agenda....kill superman and the kid....and live happily ever after with louis. but when he returns to louis she is horrified by his techno-fused body....this only further angers metallo and he kidnaps the kid....and eventually kills him. after killing the kid...Metallo blames everything on superman, and his sole purpose is to destroy superman. Mettallo yes, Richard being Mettallo. No. Maybe Richard and Jason can be killed in this one. I think he may just resolve the kid issue in this one and then give the kid a limited role in 3.

the kid being killed off is a stupid idea.

im sorry everyone feels the need to have the child beaten to death because they cant handel the movie moving beyond traditional comic addaptation storytelling but too many suggestions show that all the people complaining really want is a superman film thats just as bland and reused as the other films. the introduction of jason, and richard into the movies brings a voulnerability to the story that allows for fresh conflict. im sorry if you miss the "guy uses powers/villian shows up/superhero vs supervillian fight/ damsel gets in the middle of conflict/ slight character growth/ more fights/ kiss/ fight/ end of movie" crap we've seen in batman, spiderman, daredevil, etc etc. but the kid isint satan, and doesint need to be burned at the stake because you cant handel him. stop complaining, think outside of the box for once, and focus on things the movie could REALLY use like more exploration between the clark/superman persona, or introduction of a SOLID villian who isint just their to provide a boxing match for the hero. lets try to be a LITTLE original shall we?

It's easy to be obnoxious why not suggest some ideas instead ?

For the sequel, we need:

- A Super-Villain that Superman can have hand to hand combat with -- basically show that he can still kick some ass and not be so caught up with his "feelings."

- Brighter colors for the Superman suit. If you noticed on a lot of the promotional material (on bags of Chips, cereal boxes, even some of the books) they had Routh's costume lit up in the more traditional red and blue colors. Funny because, that's not what it looks like in the movie.

- Give Brandon more lines as Superman.

- Re-establish Superman as the ultimate superhero by having him kick more ass than having himself getting his ass handed to him (to me, Lex and his cronies beating up on Superman was a bit much, considering Kal-El didn't do any ass kicking himself throughout the whole movie!).

- Give Lois (Bosworth) the opportunity to get involved physically (or sexually, hehehe). Meaning, get her into some more action sequences, etc. Get her in some more revealing outfits.

What the sequel DOESN'T NEED:

- The Kid -- yes, Jason must not be there. Either kill off the little puke early on or just act like he never happened.

- Richard - we don't need his useless presence spoiling things with Superman.

- EMO/Stalker Superman. 'Nuff said.
