What storyline (character) would you like for FF3?

Earth being caught in the middle of a Skrull/Kree war would be exciting. It would also give good reason for the explorers to visit the final frontier. But at the same time a Black Panther storyline could work really well, and a Namor storyline (if handled well) could result in one of the most epic comic book films of all time.

Unless it is really the fall of them, I don't like the title fall when introducing a whole new race.

Well if they go with the natural choice, the Maximus the Mad saga, then the whole storyline involves the Inhumans falling, the royal family being exiled, fraternizing with humans and all that good stuff. It's not like they don't come out victorious at the end... it's an interesting title to draw people in, not a story synopsis. Remember "Rise of the Silver Surfer?" There wasn't a whole lot of rising, was there?

But, even though it doesn't make logical sense to me, you are free to dislike whatsoever you choose.

As you can tell, I'm really pushing the Inhumans Saga for the 3rd movie. I would love to see the Fantastic Four each have someone to fight who can challenge their powers. These pairings are for the initial confrontation. I see it going something like this:

Mr. Fantastic vs Medusa
Invisible Woman vs Karnak
Human Torch vs Gorgon (or Crystal or Triton)
Thing vs Black Blot

Well here are my thoughts on possible storylines...Interestingly enough my story ideas are based on where Attilan is located!! Over the years Attilan has been re-located many times, but where would you like to see this Hidden City for a 3rd movie?

Northern Atlantic Ocean (an island 200 miles southwest of Iceland)
The Himalayas (also known as the Great Refuge…a valley mountain range in China)
Blue Area of the Moon (Kree designed oxygen-bearing section)

Idea 1: Maybe they could start off in the Himalayas.
Feeling their existence is being threatened by the 'outside human world' (after the devastating effects of Silver Surfer's arrival and Galactus' attack on the Earth), the Inhumans (being misled by the evil Maximus) reluctantly send an envoy (Crystal) to infiltrate 'human' life and Earth's greatest superhero team...the Fantastic Four. She embarks on her peoples' mission to start a war with humans, however her feelings for Johnny cause her to doubt her mission. After several tense confrontations, the Inhumans join forces with the Fantastic Four to de-thorn the power hungry Maximus. Once back in power, Black Blot re-locates the Inhumans to the Moon to free them of persecution and pollution.

Idea 2: It would also be cool to maintain them on the Moon.
The Inhumans have created an advance civilization utilizing the technology left behind by their creators...the Kree Empire (this would also keep the film series more 'otherworldly'). Lord Maximus, a corrupt and demented member of the Royal Family, has plans to conquer his people. After his failed attempt to win the heart of Queen Medusa, Maximus erases her memories and banishes her to Earth, a place all Inhumans feel is a filthy backwards wasteland for a lower life form. The Royal Family, discovering Maxiums' sinister plot, head to Earth to find her, ultimately seeking out the help of the Fantastic Four in retaking their hidden city.

A sort of central theme for the Inhumans saga could be that a civilizations greatest threat comes from those who would seek to corrupt it from within.

Very nice... I like a mix of the two, having Maximus take over the Great refuge and exiling the royal family. Medussa or Crystal, adored by Maximus is not exiled, but escapes, has a run in with the Fantastic Four and they get an understanding of what's going on. Then there's a mix up with the royal family (gott have a little tussle), and they go in search of a way to restore Attillan to its rightful rulers.

I like that theme too...

Fantastic Four's Next Villain: Puppet Master Or ... Mole Man?
Superheroes will likely need new blood for potential third installment.

He's the wielder of the Power Cosmic, the Skyrider and Cosmic Wander, the Herald of Galactus and one of "the great, enigmatic characters in Marvel history," according to "Fantastic Four" star Michael Chiklis. He can travel faster than the speed of light, control the Fundamental Forces, he possesses superhuman strength and is an immortal being of near invulnerability.

But it's doubtful the Silver Surfer would be returning for a third installment of the "Fantastic Four" series, given the news Wednesday that Fox has already greenlit a spinoff, according to the Los Angeles Times. Face it, by the time Monday morning rolls around, the Silver Surfer will already be passé.

So given that Dr. Doom has appeared in the first two films and the Surfer takes his turn in the second (and presumably Galactus and Nova with him in the spinoff), who will the first family of crime-fighting battle in a potential threequel?

"I'm not really sure what's in store, but I know that Puppet Master is something that we threw around as an idea for a third one," revealed Jessica Alba, a.k.a. the Invisible Woman. "I know that's something we were talking about."

Using radioactive clay and advanced psionic abilities, Puppet Master creates incredibly detailed models of people that he is then able to control as if they were nothing more than puppets. In his plots to take over the world, Phillip Masters ... wait, Masters? Isn't that ...

"Yeah, Alicia's [stepfather] is the Puppet Master in the comic books," Chris Evans (Human Torch) declared, alluding to the Thing's blind love interest (played by Kerry Washington). "They could expand more on the Alicia plotline, and maybe [he] could be the next villain."

Given that the character has already been fairly well-established, then, using Puppet Master would mean a potential third film could get to the action that much faster. It would also mean a much darker and more dramatic story line, Chiklis pointed out, since fighting a girl's father isn't the surest way into her heart.

"Imagine asking that villain for his daughter's hand in marriage," Chiklis said. "That's going to be a problem right there, so it'll make for some interesting drama."

It would also make, by necessity, a bigger role for Chiklis and a larger focus on the Thing, something fans have been clamoring for since the first film.

But not everyone is convinced. Ioan Gruffudd, the series' Mister Fantastic, told MTV News he has his hopes set on a different villain altogether.

"What about the idea of the Mole Man devouring the Earth from the inside?" Gruffudd asked, referencing the subterranean supergenius who was the very first enemy the Fantastic Four ever faced in the comic book. "I think he was a great character. Now that we've been all over the world and all over the universe, let's maybe go to the center of the Earth."

Sue is pregnant. The Cosmic Rays that changed her into the Invisible Woman have complicated her pregnancy and it doesn't look like she's gonna make it.

That's when the boys go into the Negative Zone to find the solution.

Who are your choices to play the Puppet Master? Should the actor be black or white...afterall, he is Alicia's stepfather?!?

and what about Annihilus? Who should play him? Should the character be CGI with a really strong voice actor? Then who?

Im surprised Inhumans received so many votes so far. I expected "Namor" and "Coming of Galactus" to CRUSH all other competition on this particular list.

I really dont think Namor can hold the numbers on the big screen alone. They were Very Smart to introduce Silver Surfer in the FF, just like in the book. He's a cool character. However, some just dont carry the numbers alone.

Fantastic Four is a very good vehicle for other Marvel Characters to enter the big screen. Imagine Silver Surfer in a movie alone. It would do poorly, even if it is a good movie, because only die-hard comic fans could relate.

THe same holds true for Namor. Aquaman, who is far more well known, could not hold the numbers on the screen. Warner would be stupid to think he could. Universal would be wise to not stand in the way of an FF movie with Namor. Namor just cant bring the ''asses in seats'' alone. He needs the FF.

BTW, Im glad Puppet Master and Mole man arent getting many votes. I can think of hundreds of guest stars over either of them. Mole man was the first. However, he belongs in the books, not on screen.

FF2 was FAR better than I expected. I can live with the fact that Galactus didnt make a physical appearence. It would have been nice but All else was fine. I dare say I enjoyed FF2 more than I did Spiderman 3, which was a great movie. I just didnt like the whiney "gurlyman" they picked to play Venom.

Here's my idea-
Galactus survived, but in order to stay that way, he must live in a body, basicly merge with someone, and that someone happens to be a huge giant who wears a kilt and a lame helmet thing! Anyways, his new herald (have no idea what his name is) is about to totaly wreak havok on the skrull home world. But then, the skrulls make a deal with Galaktus, Galaktus or his herald can no longer enter earth, because of a tower thing that the fantastic four created (with the help of Silver Surfer) and the skrulls will invade Earth and tear down the tower if Galactus spares their lives. Doom teams up with the skrulls once on earth, in exchange for ruling part of the skrull planet.
My title for this little project is
Fantastic Four: Doom's Day

Throwbacks are not going to save the franchise, and there is so much potential to mess up on the drama created by the Puppet Master...

"srnrew" mentions why I didn't include Molecule Man, Diablo or Blastarr in my choices for a villain for the 3rd film. Well, for all the reasons that people may not be happy with Mole Man or Puppet Master...they are second rate villains in my opinion whose storylines would not be able to carry a movie, much less follow the epic Silver Surfer. However, Diablo could be cool if altered!!
