What storyline (character) would you like for FF3?

Do we know how far along Jessica is with her baby? Given that there's a strike going on [and the possibility of more in May or June], I am sure the little Alba child will make an appearance long before shooting could start [or even prep]. Just as well, it's much too soon to be adding Franklin to the story line...

As much as I'd like a massive Negative Zone/Annihilus blowout I can see a Psycho Man storyline working or maybe a Doom/Puppet Master mix. Add to that Sue having Franklin with 'unknown' powers to save the day and I could see them doing something like that. I'd allow for the group interaction and 'everyday' elements they've been trying for. Get She-Hulk in there to take Sue's place while she's having the baby, too.

why no announcement yet? is Fox being cheap? do they plan to turn this into a straight to video franchise (with lookalike unknowns or C-listers?)

come on, this needs a final movie for a trilogy!

Unless it was alreay in pre-production, no studio is making announcements about new projects until after the writer's strike...

If Psycho Man is going to be used do Malice, if not.....don't use him IMO.

Not much love for the Mole Man here. I think he's one of the FF4 classic villains that would be cool to see.

Unless they want to continue the story from the last flick, I don't know about another "alien" story. I'm not sure about something involving the Skrulls or Inhumans.

If they went from the last story, they could go with Moleman, since they were off to save a city from sinking......that could definitely be a Moleman storyline....

You might be right, but I'm sure Doom has more recognition/appeal with casual fans. Even though they kind of messed him up, he's more of a draw for a first film.

And I'm sure if I had been in charge of the same FF movie, I would've used the very same reasoning and kept Doom in Part 1. But now, with the benifit of hindsight and Batman Begins as an example, I now see that, like the Joker , Doom deserves a FF movie all to himself, where he's not musceling for screen time against the Origin Story. I now see that trying to do it both ways probably did a disservice to both Doom and the FF Origin.

Yeah, you're probably right. Batman Begins kind of change the rules and showed the "main" villian doesn't necessarily have to be included. Batman Begins was a really solid story, so it might be more the exception.

i'd say the main villian does not ATOUMATICALY need to be in the first movie any of the heroes foes will do

It sounds like they want to turn little Franklin into some version of Jack Jack from the Incredibles.

Can't believe they may be a FF3 movie...keep holding my breathe until I hear confirmation!!
